About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figure out how to survive doing only what I love.

ABOUT ME

Easy going guy with open attitude to life. Broad humour and get along with most people who can relax and see the optimism in things. Just finished university. Endlessly making rarely-released music, working for various startups, and traveling the world.

PHILOSOPHY

"Work to live - never live to work."

"There may be trouble ahead, but while there’s moonlight and music and love and romance, let’s face the music and dance."

"Don't cry because it's over - smile because it happened."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I genuinely enjoy meeting people from all over the world and CS is the ideal way to do this and really get under the skin of the cities I visit. Having the culture come to me by offering up my couch is a great bonus too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed in Paris with the awesome Rhodia!

Met some great couch hosts and surfers in Poznan at my first couchsurfing meeting.

In Budapest I had the pleasure of staying with the lovely Lea.

Adorable Anja let me stay at her delightful place in beautiful Zadar.

Andrea, Ana, Dajana and Ceca let me surf their awesome Bosnian couches. They and their friends made my entire time in Sarajevo one of the best experiences I´ve ever had (all thanks to couchsurfing!).

Xena met me off the bus at 0630! And showed me a great time in Ljubljana.

Excitable Ema in Ljubljana not only gave me a place to stay, but gave me a continuous supply of alcohol and great conversation that lasted the entire 3 days!

Alexandra was an incredibly interesting girl. She was (as most couchsurfers seem to be!) a fantastic cook, a great tour guide and very fun to play music with. Alex made my stay in Vienna very soulful and fulfilling by simply being a great person!

In Munich I stayed with Saskia who took me on a great walk around the city, cooked some fantastic meals and completely out-drank me!

I went to Trojmiasto for New Year 2010/11 with some friends, and Marta hosted us in Sopot. She took us on tours, to the most AMAZING new year party ever, to great cafes, restaurants, bars and really resonated with me. The very life-affirming and beautiful conversations I had with Marta during this time will always be with me.

For my last birthday I went to Tallinn with 4 close friends, 2 of which had never couchsurfed before. We all had a truly fantastic time with Chris, who showed myself and my virgin-CS friends a new level of hospitality and generosity. Now 3 of those friends are on couchsurfing!

**All of these couches I have surfed so far have given me something different and only made me love this community more and more. I cannot wait to host in order to give back what CS has given me, which is an entirely deeper and humbler outlook on life.**

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many things done and seen to state just one - and I feel very, very lucky to say that.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
If you'd like to live your life never wanting to conform to the 'real world' of job/making money/settling down somewhere against your will... then I can certainly try to teach you how to think like that ;) (still haven't figured out how to actually DO this though, unfortunately...)

Learn:
I have yet to learn a foreign language fluently so I would be forever grateful if someone would like to nominate themselves as my personal language tutor :D

Share:
Book-swapping is something I enjoy so if you like, lets swap some literature!
