Über mich

CURRENT MISSION

continue loving life

ABOUT ME

I'm interested in all kinds of things and I have a million hobbies which i seem not to have time for. I love food a whole lot...and cooking of course. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love when people introduce me to music that i don't know about. I love sitting around with new friends and talking about our differing/similar viewpoints on life. I have the travel bug. I love big road trips. In the summer of 2010, I took a road trip all across the US. I drove 8444 miles and met amazing people and saw incredible stuff. Props to couchsurfing for making it happen!

I believe that while traveling, a person needs to embrace local culture. I seek to experience people who live in a place as much as the place itself. I'm looking forward to future travels and learning from people I surf with, and to have great shared experiences together.

My current life goal is to find my niche. To discover how I can spend my energy in useful, creative, helpful, and rewarding work.

I'm kinda a jack-of-all trades. In general I am pretty chill, but can be quite wacky if the people around me help to bring that out.

PHILOSOPHY

To thine own self be true

Life is what happens when you are making other plans

When there is a fork in the road, eat pie!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfers are the best!!!!!!!!!
I first found out about Couch surfing while on vacation in Puerto Rico. I randomly met some couchsurfers, and they were really cool and good hearted people. Very hospitable and friendly too.

My first surfing experience was in Columbus, Ohio where I surfed with several people at the same house and it was a week of excellent craziness! So many personalities, so much kindness and openness. Couch surfing gives me hope that people are actually inherently good.

Every other time I have surfed or hung out with surfers, has been excellent. Everyone has been very welcoming and full of energy and ideas for cool stuff to do.

July 2010 - Columbus, OH - surfed with Jon Powell
August 2010 - Waterloo, IA - surfed with Peter Nagel
August 2010 - Sioux Falls, SD - surfed with Megan Olson
August 2010 - Santa Fe, NM - Surfed with Jenny Luna & Alysha Shaw
