ABOUT ME

Im a fun, out going person who loves meeting other people and has a dream to travel the world. I've made it to 47 countries so far and have enjoyed every moment of it. I have been traveling for the last 10 years on and off, between school and university, during uni holidays and 6 years constantly after finishing my degree. I love learning about other cultures and discovering new things. Im open minded and pretty easy going.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By spreading the word of how amazing couch surfing is. I hope to very very soon be able to also offer a couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In New Zealand....couch surfing and having couch surfers travel in my van with me! Recently I have been surfing a lot and meeting a lot of people for drinks and coffees as I make my way from Ireland to Georgia. Its the best way to see a country, meeting great locals and learning about different cultures.

Movies - Life is Beautiful, Run Lola Run, Ma vie en rose, Boy, Amelie, Turtles can Fly, Caotic Anna, The Dog in the yellow cave, My Queen Caro, The Science of Sleep, Beast of the Southern Wild and many many more.
Music - Caravan Palace, Xavier Rudd, Jon Butler, Tammas Wells, Bon Iver, Tom Waits, and Cat Empire...oh and Nick Drake. Loving gypsy jazz at the moment so let me know if you know of any great artists. And lots of other great music that I am discovering while I travel.
Books - The Book Thief, Shantaram, The Long Walk, Over Many Mountains, , China Road, Meena, The Run Away Child, anything to do with travelling or the stories of peoples lives in cultures different from mine.

I have now been to 51 countries travelling........amazing things that I have seen.......we will have to meet sometime so I can share that with you.....theres too many to begin now...

I can teach you some hula hoop tricks and give you advice on travelling in many countries.
