ABOUT ME

Happy person. Easy. Down to earth. Open minded. Funny. Sensitive, instinctive.. those are some words that can describe me but everything is better when you meet the person. Doesn't it?
Since very young age, I started traveling everywhere in the world as my father was a diplomat. So Im a bit Spanish, a bit Belgian... a bit french (10 years living in France!)... a bit Australian (2 years living in Australia) and I hope I can die as a new zealander... so... Im a person of the world!
I love the idea of being in a big big world and that tomorrow, anytime, I can just change of landscape and be somewhere completely different with different people, different food, different cultures. I love accents. I love colors. I love uncommon people ..
my friends also call me a tree hugger. I'm an Animal, Nature, Environment person.
My philosophy of life is "BE with others how you want them to BE with you" so, I just show love to everyone and I try to never judge.
We are all imperfect and the beauty is in our imperfections

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I ve been couchsurfing and being host since I started in the CS experience and I just have to say that is an amazing experience and i love it. the people I ve been meeting has been wonderful to me.

Interests

- Traveling of course
- Environment, ecology, renewable energies and home energy efficiency
- I'm vegetarian in transition to vegan: it means I don't eat anything that comes from any animal. Is my way to demonstrate respect to nature.
- science: I love to understand what's happening around me..even if Im very spiritual at the same time: "do good, U'll receive good"
- Quantum physics: "Down to the rabbit hole" :) and to the higgs boson..
- phylosophy: I'm a dreamer and a thinker. I can spend hours trying to understand some human behaviors. What is inside a human mind can be just some times.. amazing.. and contradictory.. and logical at the same time!
- music (from classic to metal): a song with a thousand sounds will be my favorite
- piano (heart beat! Heart beat!): Yann Tiersen and Ludovico Einaudi drive me nuts!
- photography...
- shows: from comedy to theater.. then to opera and to classical concerts..
- festivals and multicultural events: and more if they are eco friendly
- hiking: everything is walkable..
- chocolate and beer: .. is in my belgian genes..

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a strong cinophile person. I love movies that make me think, that surprise me and that make me see the world... A film that make me cry will be possibly one of my favourites!
My MUST see so far : Origins, cafe di Fiori, the Matrix, Mr Nobody, Amelie, Fight Club, Inception, Seven, Babel, Requiem for a Dream, Drive, Meeting Joe Black, The Piano, The Perfum, The notebook, The butterfly effect, 7 pounds, American Beauty, Leon the professional, Moulin rouge, Black Swan, 500 days of Summer, Goodbye Lenin, Lonely Bones, Brothers and.. Les intouchables..
I also ADORE Series.. at the moment Im a huge, addicted fan of Game of Thrones. I also appreciate series as: black mirror, the handmade's Tail, Big Little lies, 13 reasons why, big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy.. and Six feet Under and Friends will stay forever in my heart.
In music im pure contradiction: I love piano, orchestal music, instruments touch me.. but suddenly i jump into groups like Linkin Park, Incubus, system of a down.. it must be my way to canalise energy.
I also appreciate a lot the soundtracks music.
Books: i like to read when I have the time and the book has to absorb me. At the moment Im reading all the Game of Thrones books. They are amazing. But i loved Bill Bryson and his humor, Richard Bach, James redfield..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam between dolphins, sharks, sting rays, turtles while snorkling.. and then when I rose my head out of the water: i saw 3 whales jumping in front of me.. Exmouth (Australia)
The Tongariro cross. Amazed by the air, the smell, the landscape and the incredible contact with nature. I will definetely do it again - NZ
To kiss Nurhati, the happy elephant.. Bali
To meet Ngilai, an orphan baby elephant at the David Sheldrick Wildlife trust - Kenya
To swim in the cave where Jon Snow and Ygritte made love - Iceland
To arrive to Peyto Lake after a long beautiful walk - Canada.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Spanish and French and my work field concern renewable energies so open to teach that too.
