Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew CS from a friend on skype when I practiced speaking English. Now I haven't had many chances to travel but I like to make friends, traveling, and learn different cultures, so I think in CS, I have more chances to expand my world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am studying in Ho Chi Minh city, far away from my hometown. When someone ask for a host in Dalat, I introduce them to my friend, studying there. Therefore, I don't have much experience about CS.

Interests

After watching the film Van Helsing, I really like this character because he has 2 things I like the most: he is brave (in the dark, his heart beat is so regular that the vampire cannot detect his disodered heartbeat). Moreover, he can know rightly who is a good person while he or she appears to be hateful and evil.(He protected the robot man and save his life).

I like to study about Psychology, & Natural Science. Be able to answer the WHY questions is the reason I like natural science. I also want to discover the potential power of human's thinking rather than logical brain of science.
If I have free time, I arrange to do kungfu three times a day, in the early morning, at noon, and in the afternoon. I also prefer to do volunteer, cook at home, surf web, watch film, listen to music, read books or walk slowly to enjoy cool air at night. I don't like party, noisy place, crowded people, chatting. When being with friends, I don't like to sit in a cafe to talk, I like to do something more useful together like cooking, playing sports or sharing a hand in doing volunteer...

Music, Movies, and Books

+ Film: A littre of tears (Jappanese film), Van Helsing, Undisputed (Boyka), Beauty and the beast, star war, 200 pounds beauty( Korean movie), star war, prison break...
+ Song: Song for A Stormy Night, Human Only, Pocketful of sunshine, I'm stupid...
+ Story: Connan (detector, manga), phylosophy books of Krishnamurti, Shraj marg meditation, Buddhism and science...
+ Kungfu: Nam Huynh Dao (Vietnamese traditional martial art)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decide to learn martial art because I don't have a good health and want to be more independent and have strong determination. Become a student of Nam Huynh Dao, VN traditional martial art is the greatest gift in my life. Here, fighting skill or physical health is not the reason for me to pursuit martial art, but the idea to win myself day by day in each practice. I learn many good lessons from my ancestor conserved in kungfu.
+ My grand master says that a challenge in life is actually a battle between good and evil. If we don't have enough strong and clear mind to overcome, what we do doesn't contribute any true value, but just a patchy and troublesome work.

+ In kungfu, we learn the spirit of never give up for any reason because it is we ourselves decide our destiny, not leading astray by any games, or compare to anyone.

+ Want to be better in kungfu, the learner has to be more patient, more generous, more open- minded, more willing to try... so it is not only physical skill but a reminder to test ourselves.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like math and physics. I graduate from electronics and telecommunication major of University of Science, HCM city. Although I don't have any religion, but I pursuit a spiritual attainment. I join Christian club, OCF in RMIT university. I attend Buddhist talk and meditation retreat, learn traditional martial art, read philosophy books of Krishnamurti, Thich Nhat Hanh, Osho.

Countries I’ve Visited
