CURRENT MISSION

As an empty nester and life long traveler I want to continue the adventures. As I am getting older I also want to offer the support that was extended to me and my family for so many times in so many ways. It is priceless to have friends across the country

ABOUT ME

I have two grown boys that are truly great friends. I love the outdoors and all of what nature has to offer. I am happy camping in a burrito roll or hosting a trout grill at my home. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a new places and meeting great friends. So many little surprises hiding in the small towns and big wild places. Don't mind visiting big cities but I never stay too long. I hold dear family, friends, and well, most all kinds of people. Soccer and softball are my sports of choice to play but a long hike in the wilderness is when my heart really starts thumping.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a wild lab rat. Escaped from the cage and running free! Living to love and loving to live. I respect all cultures and can find something in common with most everyone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For years my heart and home have been open for meeting new friends. I believe this will be the ultimate opportunity to continue the life style of loving people. Hope to meet you somewhere, someday, as a fellow surfer, my home, or yours.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not too many folks visit this small town. Wish more would. Come see me! If I have the time I will gladly share the Ozarks and some of its hidden treasures.

I have had only a few surfing experiences. It has all been fun!

Interests

I LOVE to dance! Wish West Plains had more opportunities to dance.I am happy to pick from my garden, prepare in my kitchen, and serve to your plate. I will stay up and talk over wine until my eyes need propping. I enjoy people. I hope you feel comfortable enough to visit. We have plenty of room.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a nerd when it comes to books. I read field guides,gardening stuff and mostly non fiction. Movies, are my sleeping pill. The best way for me to fall asleep-turn on the TV. Give me music so I can dance!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ozarks caving takes me to a different world. Staring at witch hazel in the winter or munching sorrel in the spring, to me, are the finer moments in life. Watching a prominid beetle lay eggs. It is the tiny things in life that give me the greatest pleasures. Watching asparagus grow, all of my garden really, really, always provides delight especially when I can share it. Nothing, however, exceeds the experience of watching my two boys grow into fine young men.
