About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Slow Forward

ABOUT ME

Outside calm, inside trembling - might be the best description. I love voices, sounds, audiobooks. It is the hearing that breaks up darkness says an african proverb. I am never in the here and now, always somewhere else. Need to fix this totally.

I will be happy to skype but I am not a fan of spreading personal information too much on the net. I do not even use Facebook - call me Fred Flintstone.

I think I am more traditional than one would expect because I do love technological progress somehow. Smartphones, audioplayers, headphones and so on - great stuff. But do I really really need it or to which extend. I do love Wes Anderson movies and lastly I found out why. Wes Anderson never uses technology from the 21st century nor from the 90ies. Phones have cables, computers look like tanks, cars still can be fixed by oneself and even being outdoor is old stuff - cotton tents and so on. It os a safe and secure world where you can not get lost. I do look for that state of mind.

I can be so loyal that it hurts (me). I like the idea of a handshake being a contract.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to live many lifes - it is hard to dare. Why? Different perspectives show me who I am.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Much too late. The time is now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always been tempted to couchsurf - the time is now

Interests

I always loved to travel - suddenly I needed to earn for my living. I haven't been around the world the way I like since years.

I have seen half Europe, a little Africa, USA, Faroer Islands, China (well some of it)

  • technology
  • movies
  • traveling
  • cars
  • outdoor activities
  • lakes

Music, Movies, and Books

There can be only one Book of all: the Dice Man
And I always end up listening Abbey Road.
But there is much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saving my father's life. Can't let him go by now.
Feeling how huge Shanghai was
Lakes at night
my first planet on the refractor (Saturn)

So much is buried in me and sometimes flickers so I can catch the thought.

Teach, Learn, Share

I ll come later to this.
