Hey Hola Oi :)

I am an easy going person from upstate New York who is always looking for an adventure. I love learning and questioning the world. I am a firm believer of the phrase life is too short and prefer to live my life rather than just existing. I am surrounded with lots of love from by boyfriend, family and friends. I am also a recent pescatarian trying to be more conscious of the world and myself.

South America has a very special place in my heart. I spent about 2.5 years living in various countries in South America and I try to visit every year. I have met amazing people in my travels and would love to share stories and experiences with others.

I am also a recent SIT graduate with my masters in International Education. I value the importance of intercultural communication and aspire to work with Youth Programing to get youth excited about exploring different cultures. Most recently I lead two groups of American students through an immersion program in Spain for 6 weeks.

Soy una chica que le gusta reír muchooooo y es las cosas simples en la vida que me dan una sonrisa. Soy una persona muy sociable y siempre quiero conocer mas gente. Para mi, la mejor manera de vivir es ser espontánea y no gastar tiempo y energía con las preocupaciones. Tenemos una sola vida y hay que vivirla. He cambiado mucho mis pensamientos durante mi experiencia en Latinoamérica no quiero dejar de cambiar.

I love to meet new people and share stories and experiences. Wherever I am in the world I like to go to the events and meetings and have a good time. I also try to respond and post helpful messages for everyone. When I get my own place one day I cannot wait to host people!

We are all interconnected and united as people and CS helps build relationships and connections. I hope to be an outlet for connections and positive vibes in the future.

Interests

I am easily pleased and entertained and not at all picky. There are many things that make me happy. I love learning new things like languages (especially slang), cooking, dancing. I prefer to be outdoor than indoors. My hobbies are hiking, running, swimming, capoeira, working out, eating, laughing and rock climbing.

I would consider myself very easy going and down for anything. I think its important to have an open mind and I like people who voice their opinions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the Roraima Trek in Venezuela. It was my first real mountain climb for 6 days. It was something absolutely amazing and opened my mind to how beautiful our world is, Also, the feeling of laying on the edge of a mountain 2800m high and looking down is something indescribable.

Hitchhiked for one month through Argentina and Uruguay.
Hang glided over the beach in Rio.

Hice treking en Roraima Venezuela y no tuvimos una guia. Fue muy impresionante xq fue mi primera subida.
Vi cosas bellas y me quedo sin palabras.Tambien estoy bailando en una Murga y me encanta pq soy la unica extranjera en un grupo lleno de argentinos
