Chi sono

CURRENT MISSION

Leaving my certainties for the desire to explore and meet new people and different cultures ...

ABOUT ME

I'm trying to reach my goal, visiting the most of the world. I know I could never see all of it, although the most important thing to me is discover new people and cultures that could give me some good vibes, teaching me a new way of see my life and a global vision for humanity. I love philosophy and psychology, I studied Engineer, I love acting but I'm quite shy, I love talking though I'm a great listener. I'm easy to know and hard to forget...did I said I'm humble as well :D?
I'm a really polite, funny and easy going guy. Hope to meet a lot of great souls out there.

PHILOSOPHY

There would be a lot to say here but I like to talk vis a vis about this. It gets a way more emotional!
Summarizing it:
- Don't believe in any god
- Don't believe in love as a couple concept
- Don't believe in any possible way that money makes you happy
- Don't believe in choosing just one job and pursuing career in it, because it won't lead you to anything else than trouble finding your own self
- Don't believe in the education system as we know it
- Most of all, I don't believe in the western way of life. It is time consuming and time is the only resource we would never gain back, no matter what.

I do have my own vision on life and day by day I'll challenge myself to experience it

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would like to host rather than just surfing but I like to move around. Once (if I ever) settle down I will host for sure.
Try to get in touch with the community wherever I am, sharing concept of couchsurfing to people that don't know it or that got concerns about it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Asia, Europe, USA and South America! Met so many great travellers that widened my mind and opened myself to a new way of living life.
Currently travelling through Central and South America.

Interessi

Love sports, all of them. I mean almost all of them, would you consider Curling a "Sport"? :)
I love to exchange points of view and to listen to people. I'm interested in different ways of living and being. I'm building myself day by day, piece by piece. Having a talk anytime with anyone could let you see life in a way you never tought of.
Love to try new things and absolutely love to learn it from other people!
Love kids and animals as well!

Musica, film e libri

Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, let's say the whole Tarantino's filmography.
I love movies based on true stories, mafia movies (who knows why, uh?), comedy and TV Series.
About music...well, I listen mainly Blues, Jazz, Soul and Instrumental. But I got my moments of Iron Maiden of Classic Italian Music. It goes along with my mood!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

- Spent a day in Khuang Si waterfall (Luang Prabang, Laos) with my hostel's roommates and has been a wonderful day.
- Spent a night with a wonderful soul in Bangkok and the city looked like empty cause the time was so intense we didn't even looked around us.
- Stayed with tigers in Chiang Mai taking shots with my camera so close that I was able to smell their breath! So scary!
- Damn walked 2km of the Chinese Great Wall in the opposite side of others tourist cause I missed the sliding car...sooooo steep! I was exausted at the end!
- Got a photoshoot from a CS friend that works as a Photographer, amazing!!!
- Took the public bus in Yangon, Burma. Why is so special? You got to try it!
- Cycled (as a lot of tourist do) the Angkor Wat completely in 3 days. Lots of monkeys along the path.
- Went 22km offroad with an asian "motorcycle" (110cc - poor my nuts) to reach the Elephant Waterfall, then I went through the forest to reach the bottom of it. It's all on tape! Awesome!
- Slept in a rented Car in Louisville because I had to visit 5 Bourbon distilleries in the morning after and the closest motel room available was 42km away.
- Went up to the top of Monkey Mountains in Da Nang having no more gasoline to get back.
- Watched more than 200 sea turtles (a whole nest) coming to life in Riviera Maya, Mexico (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcTSHS8O1xk)
- Tracked the waterfall in the Huasteca Potosina (Mexico) by bus and hitchike

Insegna, impara, condividi

Everyone can teach or learn something without being conscious about it. It's the beauty of life.
Talking, listening, experiencing, make this life simply beatiful to live. Bad moments are important like the good ones.
Education systems need to be reviewed and changed. We can't live to produce what we buy with the money we earn using the only resource it could never be bought, our time.
We wouldn't know the sweet without having tasted bitterness.
