ABOUT ME

👫 Ahron and me are an out of the box jolly Dutch-Mexican couple. We love fun communities, nature and outdoor adventures. Inspired by this, we chose to live in the best kept secret of Amsterdam (its amazing countryside which makes it a perfect combo by being next to one of the trendiest areas around, full of art/events and top entrepreneurs, Amsterdam Noord).

🏡 We get a lot of requests for staying and meeting. And as most of travelers, we also have busy agendas plus a social 10m old baby Dante, so planning ahead is really helpful. What to visit in Amsterdam?
** Don’t forget checking if there is a CS event during your visit to join activities and travelers who are already looking to network
** City Center: Search “Amsterdam Food Bicycles Tours” in Google and enjoy all the street food tours; in your tour you have to try some typical street snacks like vleemish frites/bitterballen/krokets/pannenkoeken/stroopwaffles
** Hot Spots: museums, public events happening around depending the season (summer festivals in the city - “beaches” like Dok Amsterdam -sail competitions - LGBT parade - ||| winter carnavals - sinterklaas - light festivals; etc.), boat trips and parks of your preference (some even have temporary activities/exhibitions or a zoo in it!). In the night you can do a pub crawl organized by walking tours, students groups or hostels. If you like Thai, you have to eat in Bird (worth to wait in line during your visit around red light district).
**Noord of Amsterdam: Visit Durgerdam and Twiske Molen if the weather is reasonable. On your way back stop anytime in Café ‘T Sluisje/ Cafe Ceuvel for a coffee, Hyena Cinema Bar for a snack and a movie on couches, and NDSM+Plek/Skate Cafe/Paradiso for drinks or specially for a fun
