Formerly Istanbul, formerly formerly NOLA, now I am in Thessaloniki
I'm a pretty laid-back girl who loves to make new friends over a beer. I have been described as "dark," "funny," "slow," "a danger to herself and others," and "you have really freakishly small ears."

I like Tom Waits, Bon Iver, Des Ark, New Orleans, night walks, books, bars, secret levee treehouses, being loud, being quiet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend swung through who was travelling the country using CS. My roommates and I jumped all over it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few people in New Orleans and it led to fantastic adventures.

I've used it to surf at a crazy commune/farm in West Texas desert. It was awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped off a bridge into the Vltava River and got picked up by Czech cops. It was stupid.

I saw a priest run into the Black Sea on a freezing night. He gave me a hug. He had a big beard and it was scratchy.

I walked through the market of birds in Istanbul and there were feathers falling out everywhere.

I spent one month in a cottage in rural Eastern Iceland, alone, on an artist's residency.
