About Me

CURRENT MISSİON
Hiking and snow mountain climbing so far 2 6000m+ and 5 5000m+. Hang my paintings all over friend's houses. Stabler headstand and shoulder stand. Learn the histories and people of each corner of the earth

ABOUT ME

Once a theatre lover, regular volunteer and journalist in the college, sweet art fan in Europe, brave wonderer in Africa, violent English teacher and right fighter in Ethiopia, super dancer in South America, movie lover in Greece, the most lazy graduate in the best university, the most crazy, sharpest and coolest Chinese, a fun soul, absolute experiencist and life learner!

I taught children English for FSCE NGO in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I was not gentle but very 'responsible' to give my students all I know (meaning abusive Chinese style hahaha) . 'No, you will never ever hitchhike in Africa!' Actually, I DID in Ethiopia though got punched by a driver. Even accidents seem so wonderful when I look back.

Athens and Thessaloniki: No night, no day, no difference, only the beard, food, alcohol, dance, music, chest hair, sunshine, sea, beach, towns, melodious Greek, office battles, endless documentaries in the dark cinema and dozing… Flowers flying, fingers snapping, so condensed so mixed so strong so powerful, yet so tranquil, flowing like a poem.

New York: What I remember the most is not the day-to-day lecture, assignment, group discussion or academic talk, but such diversified neighborhoods and every unique street and boutique shop I have walked through, such crazy and creative art, theatre and music scene, such architecture jungle ready to soar above the universe with a magic carpet, such wonderful New Yorkers, and such free air that never kills the bright light of thoughts and inspirations. No any city on the earth could match.

Camino de Santiago: 10 days 272 km walking. Met great, crazy, and generous people. Whenever exhaust captured me, always someone ahead or behind with simple greetings, "Bueno Camino", "Buenos Dias", encouraged me to keep going. It is a walk for one person in the end. Alone but never lonely.

And many many beautiful people, beautiful cities and towns, beautiful memories...

My interests can stretch to moon and my roles can be various as water. I'm always eager to explore all the wonders in my life and never hesitate to probe every playground.

I probably behave rude, just because I'm direct, and fast. You know the potential risk of having been living in the most crowded metropolis for 10+ years... (that's why I just deleted "give my love" kind of bullshit from my previous profile)

PHILOSOPHY

--See the world with kids' eyes; Think about it like adults; love it with elders' sorrow.
--When I say "f***", I DO LOVE you THE most.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A stand-up comedian impressed me so much in Atlanta via Couchsurfing Meet-up, not only with his humor but his encouragement story, half paralyzed yet being able to start his own business and travel around the world to give talks.

A handsome man hosted me in Baltimore and we had great time at a LGBT party on the new year eve. He showed me the other side of him being such a gorgeous drag queen. A few years later, I found him again on Facebook, surprisingly yet understandably, she, as the head of local LGBT movement leader, found herself complete in peace and happiness.

I once surfed with a crazy Italian artist host who is like my mentor, somehow pointing to another direction for me when I didn't know what to do with my life. Well, he dumped me on the street while we were both high on his motorbike to Dali old town...

Too many memories and stories, which crazy one do you wanna know, or wanna get high together?

Interests

--Decent Swing Dancing (Lindy Hop + Blues), and broken Salsa / Bachata in a clubbing twerking way
--Shavasana Yoga, while I enjoy flow, too, so that I could easily fall asleep during shavasana
--Working overtime/late/early/on the weekends, like most of the Chinese do, with Jazz music
--Sketchy sketching and pains-my-ass painting
--Traveling with photography, must be together, not non-stop selfies like my people, only professional decent shots
--Enjoying a good movie or theater show while occasionally falling asleep
--Playing the hell knows what weird roles in the college theatre group, including boy, nun, beggar, mafia...until one day realizing I'm too old to memorize the lines
--Shooting my own short films mostly in the college time, with a vague dream of becoming famous in the porn industry
--Writing funny travel stories, simply complaining about everything including myself
--Hiking, simply because I'm always lost and fall down on my ass
--Eating everything, I'm a Chinese you know? No, you cannot imagine!
--Laughing, no matter where, when and for what
--If people don't have to sleep,it's perfect! (that's why I fall asleep anywhere anytime)
--Learning guitar for years but never grasp, but I play piano pretty well, meaning I'm not silly I guess...
--Rushing, again sorry for being rude...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

----Always missing so many places but never homeland
----I eat everything, OFFICIALLY, which has been proved by many people from all different countries
----Walking naked on campus and being topless in Santorini
---- "Flying" in streets of Dali, seeing everything like Van Gogh's painting
----Hitchhiked and tortured children in Ethiopia with allergy bubbles all over my body
----Dressed up like Inca people and dancing whole night till New Year. Machupichu of course, maybe more Pachamama
----Paraglided and swam in February, in Turkey, every border that marks a historical sensation
----Visiting South Korea for swing dance events so regularly that everyone believes I'm going for plastic surgery
----Simply by living in NYC for 2 years!!! I do not mean studying, staying, traveling or making a living, BUT TRULY "LIVE" -- “The true New Yorker secretly believes that people living anywhere else have to be, in some sense, kidding.”
----Just got a diving license in Thailand, 2 years ago I was HORRIFIED with water TOO MUCH
----Camino de Santiago with a broken wrist and knee
----Self-learned painting during covid mainly because of not much gathering and killing time with friends
----A rising snow mountain climber absolutely no high altitude sickness

What I Can Share with Hosts

**THOUGH I don't really care when surfing, WHEN hosting, I prefer understanding my guest well, because the poor English or whatever language communication really could kill the whole experience. Please anyone who is ever writing a request, make sure going through my whole profile especially this part**
**IN YOUR request please do include "I'm also another weirdo from cs just like you." Otherwise, well you know what is otherwise...**
**I AM expecting you to be at least 80% similar to how your profile describes. You don't have to be polite or intelligent, but please be at least TRUE, genuine and honest, since I've been fed up with craps like "Catch the moment" or "Open to every possibility" while in reality not at all type of people. That's why we need a profile first, don't we?
**IF YOU just wanna meet up, and actually are staying in a hotel on a business trip, please clarify in advance so that I won't be preparing the couch for nobody, and cancel some other amazing guests. I have had several cases like this and I do hate it. No matter how cool you are, or how many positive references you have got, this behavior is simply unbearable, not to mention inviting me to "drop by the hotel"!
