ABOUT ME

I'm a teacher, programmer, photographer1 and event producer working at the GAME department of Uppsala University.

My personal agenda and practical purpose right now, is to ensure the establishment and growth of a new creative industry on Gotland.

I am also;
A meritocratic citizen of the Internet. (those who do, decides)
A loud unabashedly sex-positive feminist.
A Free software developer and aggressive copyright revisionist.

1 Kara noted in her reference; [...] his camera is always by his side and if you're camera shy, you certainly wont be once you leave :) My cameras and I are inseparable. If you can't stand to be photographed you need another host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met an Iranian princess whom kindly provided me with a couch for a wedding I had to attend. We got along so well I ended up bringing her as my guest.

We kept in touch, and have been to three weddings together now. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I do watch a lot of film, but I appreciate all cultural artifacts allowing me to experience, explore and emphathize with perspectives foreign to my own.

I enjoy movies conveying empathy for life's lived differently. Music reflecting my own emotional roller coaster. Comics challenging my preconceptions. Books providing useful insights and experience.

And games that lets me interact with all of the above.

... I also enjoy mindless zombie hordes, meticulously choreographed explosions, hard boiled one liners, pew-pewing space lasers, palpable fear and most anything inducing a physical sensation.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to improve my photography. Specifically composition, lighting, macro, street photography, portraiture, working with models, landscapes, architecture, abstract, post processing ... erhm. Everything.

There's no network for enthusiasts on the island, so I'm pressing my thumbs and hoping CS might provide.

Are you a strong photographer? Are you a model? Consider bringing your gear and share a couple of shoots with me!

... I have a bunch of equipment too, so you don't have to bring your entire studio. :)
