About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My main mission, be aware of every single day I live. Trying not to waste any day of this life. Pursuing my dreams and trying to make them reality. Growing as a person.

ABOUT ME

Probably,if my friends were asked about me, they would remark my love for travelling and my passion for discovering new things in this life. I suppose that they would mention my interest in knowing and interacting with other cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Travelling is one of the best schools, if not the best, because one can learn about others in order to learn about oneself, growing as a person is my main aim in this life. Being introspective with one´s actions to improve everyday as a human being.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do consider that Couchsurfing plays a very importante role nowadays in a globalized world whose main interests are consumism and money.

Interests

My main passion is travelling. I have spent around 12 or 13 years travelling in approximately 60 countries around the world.
At the moment I am travelling since the 2nd of November in a trip which started in the Caucasian countries, continued in Uzbekistan, Indonesia and now Australia.
I have keen interests in politics, history, art, religions, and everything which is related to the human being.
I have a special attraction for the Asian culture, including the holistic sciences.
Travelling is one of the best schools, if not the best, because one can learn about others in order to learn about oneself, growing as a person is my main aim in this life. Being introspective with one´s actions to improve everyday as a human being.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is quite difficult to remember only two or three amazing moments of my life, but I have some very good memories of meditating in Ladakh during the sunset with a buddhist monk from a wonderful place with all the Himalaya range of mountains as a background. I also remember doing a trecking, totally off the beaten track through the jungle of Laos, very close to Vietnam, we visited some villages where practically nobody visited them before, we were hosted in one of these villages by the locals, we had lunch with them, I will never forget the smell of the lunch, squirrel, this was a very good adventure.
Also, I would like to remark an unforgottable experience that I had in Palmyre,in Syria, just the year before the war started. I was walking alone at the ruins at last time in the evening, I was alone, and then there was a storm. I was hanging around with the headphones, listening an Asura's track, in the middle of the storm, I really thanked God for having me this wonderful experience, being alone in the middle of the ruins with that storm was something unbelievable, a real "peak experience".
