About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To: make friends in the Lafayette area, pet every dog I see, learn how to knit socks, find the most creative foods to eat.

ABOUT ME

I'm a southern gal from Texas and North Carolina.
I love to be active, to play sports or games; I am on an Ultimate Frisbee team and I also like skiing, running, and biking.
I also love to be creative- painting, usually making stuff with my hands, ceramics, photography, crafty stuff.
I'm also a big fan of watching: people watching, sports watching, movie watching... you know, the usual.

I'm not quite sure yet what I'm doing with my life. I have a big dream of creating a cross-cultural program where students from developing communities within the States (especially Native Tribes in the process of nation building) with students from developing parts of the Middle East. I lived in Jordan for the summer and I really fell in love with the country- and I think we all have a lot to learn from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm looking for coffee and drinks just to meet awesome people around me, because I just moved across the country. Once I get on my feet I will hopefully be able to host and travel around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've just heard folks talk all about their wonderful CS experiences and anticipating my own!

Interests

the toggle to the window blinds. rolly-spiny chairs. someone to share my crazy ideas with. allusions to pop-culture. gaudy jewelry. keys to my Bluth model home.
