Studying my PhD in Urban Planning at Harvard University.

ABOUT ME

I am Brandon.
I love exploring, running and meeting new people.
I want to see as much of the world as possible and experience many things in many different locations.
I love eating Berries. I am vegetarian. I like penguins and mountains.
I'm a city researcher - and have worked for the African Centre for Cities at the University of Cape Town; so issues from urbanisation to property ownership, spatial segregation, and economic mobility appeal to me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed around Tanzania, USA, Brazil, Bolivia. Argentina and Malawi, Rwanda, Ghana and Burundi. I really enjoyed it and happy to be a part of the community. I have recently been hosting quite a few people in my apartment in Cape Town.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the start of 2015 I ran 400km in 10 days. This was the same route that 7000 mineworkers walked in 1899 as they escaped war. I did this to raise money for charity!

Got naked at the peak of Mt Meru in Tanzania at 6: 15 in the freezing cold.

Spent 30 days walking the entire length of a river in south Africa. The first people to do it!
