About Me

CURRENT MISSION
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine
Travel around the world, meet Travellers and make new friends, live a happy simple life. Life is too short not to know the people from other part of the world and foreigners. The world will be a better place if we ignorant of identity of nation, race, language, religion, skin colour, our education BUT come as normal human and traveler.

ABOUT ME

I am free, open-minded, friendly and easygoing person. I like honest and good manner/ polite travellers. I can offer advices and tips to explore new places in Sabah.
Any CS members want to make a couch request, please state 3 or 4 reasons why you want to stay with me. The CS spirit/ objective is a platform to get to know people or make new CS friends around the world. Any couchsurfing member home is NOT a Hostel or Hotel. We provide free accommodation because I believe we can make new friends that last a life time and make the world a better place for others to learn from and respect each other.
Able to mingle and chat with anyone if that person respect other people culture.
Never talk about politic, races and religion.
We can discuss and share traveling tips/ stories about travel adventures around the world.
MY COUNTRY
Talk about my Malaysian culture, fusion food and multiracial people. Preserve the environment by keeping our places clean and tidy, always promote peace and Harmony, Loving Kindness and joy among people around the world and around Us.
Hope one day I wish I can live in other countries to learn more about other people cultures, languages, their places, and food.

HOBBIES

1) Looking for people share the same and different passion for traveling as backpackers, hitch checker, tour cyclists and love outdoor activities.

2) I love to learn and do something new everyday. Learning to do new things every day improve our outlook and mindset which may create new meaning and opportunities to myself and to others.

3) I like to cook and learn different Malaysian culinary/ dishes, taste different food from different countries.

4) I am a good housekeeper/ timekeeper/ planner for travel , family life and professional work.

5) I love to play my classical guitars and Acoustic guitars; listen to some classical music, country music and popular music.

6) I love cycling, brisk walking, Yoga practice, meditation and traveling with a passion for photography.

7) Love to read a lot of motivational, inspiration, personal development books and travel guides books to inspire me to take challenges and more courage in life.

8) Love to meditate or read if I am alone . so please keep quiet when I meditate or sleeping.

9) Still improving my English mastery and Mandarin language and learn to read and write Mandarin or simplified Chinese

10) Love to meet people from different countries and share their life experience with me. Smart way of learning is also to learn from other people whom went to the hardship.

11) To travel to CHINA, RUSSIA, EUROPE to meet and make as many CS members possible

12) Dare to Dream BIG, Never Give Up Your BIG Dream.
“Vision without Action is merely a Dream.
Action without Vision just passes the time.
Vision with Action can change the world.” quote by Joel A Barker

13) My motto: Plan your road map to having good and healthy life and Do my best in all things I do.

PHILOSOPHY

1) Believe in myself and always acquire New Knowledge and skills to enhance our mind and vision, learn from your own mistakes and do not listen what others tell you what to do unless a good teacher teaches us or good mentor guide/ coaching us and use your instinct or common senses all the times.

2) Believe in yourself and strive to achieve BIG dreams and enjoy helping others unconditionally. Always Trust and be confident in your talent, abilities and intuition. "Life is TOO SHORT not to meet beautiful and interesting travellers or CS members from different countries." That is the true spirit of knowing the world by knowing our CS members as global travellers. Age is not the issue but it's a number as long as I dream big and my dream can come true.

3) Help those who had helped us, be grateful what we had rather than agonizing what others people have.

4) Show others by "LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE" by showing good example, morale, loving kindness, generosity and live a simple life. I LOVE The idea of being A "Minimalist person", not use too many unnecessary resources and reduce wastage of energy and resources.

5) Never compare yourself with Others. You are special and unique individual.

6) Always Plan your travel or work and Then You Follow or Work on your Plan. Never have procrastination attitude. Try to stick to a plan. A plan is better than no plan.

7) Dare to Dream BIG, Never Give Up Your Dream, Go For It, Just Do It. Dream remains a dream if we do not take any actions and planning to achieve them.

8) Live a happy or simple and frugal life.

9) Share your happiness, joy, skill, knowledge and stories with the love ones and people around us

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

1) to host some surfers a couch or a room to stay but they might offer some goodwill or gratitude. Surfers must fully understand the spirit of Couchsurfing as I am not operating as a hostel or hotel. We need to share your experience, doing somethings good for the host. (offer cooking lesson, cleaning up, teaching new languages, it is up to you what you can offer to the host, etc.)

2) to offer travelling tips about my country

3) To offer friendship to all surfers and hosts in other countries

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

1) It is good to host honest travellers whom have good references and read my complete profile. It's maybe a bit inconvenient or couch not available if I am working outstation. So I can only show you around the city during weekend or offer travel tips around Sabah, Sarawak, or Brunei.

2) Generally, surfers and hosts should be warm hearted, experienced travellers, honest, open minded and friendly people, we must learn from each other. We all share our passion for travelling and meet new people.
