About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover the best of what life can offer

After my studies i was volunteering as primary teacher one year in Africa and one year in Haiti. After that experience i couldn't make my mind to settle down somewhere and i made the choice to work in hospitality jobs during summer time in france and go travelling during winter. Since 2010 now i enjoy traveling around the world, learning and discovering so much from others that it became a lifestyle that i could not change anymore....
ABOUT ME

Composed, but with a small touch of madness!
Eager for new experiences, I savor the present moment. I don't like to do precise plans, just take the opportunities when they are coming!
I like taking time to do things well, but I don't like losing it either!
I love the simplicity in everyday life and in relation with other.
And I think it's important to have dreams big enough to don't forget them!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't belong to any religions, but I'm interested in all spiritualities.
If I had to describe my state of mind, it's a mixture of stoicism and epicurianism with a touch of zen...

I'm deeply convinced that all the crisis happening everywhere around the world could not end if we don't solve them where they start...in our minds

Wisdom begins by accepting the inevitable and continues with the right transformation of what can be.

Enjoy the present moment; give without expecting something in return.

"Happiness is to continue to want what we already possess." Saint Augustin

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered that site when i was travelling in Australia.
I've been travelling really cheap in that country, hitchhiking, camping and.... couchsurfing when arriving in big cities such as Sidney or Melbourne.
Not having a home yet, it's hard for me to host someone, but i would be glad to welcome you in brittany and show you the best spots of the place we call here world's end!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love travelling with that mind. Being hosted by locals is the best way to discover a culture, a country, a language, and the exchange that is created is incomparable!
My first time took place in Ethiopia, I was traveling in a bush bus with three friends, and we met an old man who invited us to come to his family. We stayed a week, it was a meeting so rich and intense that we went back to see them two months later.
Since then, I try to travel only like that, being hosted by the inhabitants and sharing their lifestyle.
These meetings are the best memories I have of my travels!

Interests

Meet new people, discover new horizons.
keep learning about myself, the world, mankind...
Have fun, learn, visit, share, laugh, dream, love, be surprised....

Since the last 2/3 years, i'm more and more interested by living in a place where we would attempt to be self sufficient , come back to a life closer to Nature, a place where we would grow or food but also minds and souls. Every year in my travels i meet new people who share with me their knowledge and discoveries and soon i hope to be able to put all this in practice somewhere!

I love to share with people I meet our experiences and knowledge.
I come from Brittany, a beautiful area in the west of France with a strong regional identity (we have a flag, the breton language, a festival...); I always enjoy talking about it, and flatter my chauvinism!!!
I also love cooking, and I can make you taste our famous "crepe" ( kind of pancakes worldknown), or other recipes!
i'm always happy to learn local cuisine, and all kind of handcrafts.

Finally I like to share discussions on any subjects, both prosaic and philosophical...
