ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 years old Photography Passionate. I travel all arround the world every year doing Photographic Safaris, which means travelling all over the world taking photographs of Cities/Country's culture, People or things that represents the city or country that im visiting for my WorldWide Photography album. I love exchanging cultures, meeting people from different spots in the world.

This year (2011) i went to Hawai'i to visit my non-biological hawaiian family and with a very special desition: To become a Kaima'aina (local).
So i've learned about the islands, language, culture and which was SPECIAL for me was that i got my hawaiian name: Keānuenueokeakua which means "God's Rainbow".

I'm a very friendly guy, i'm more interested in ecology rather than things that destroy our planet. I'm a Server Engineer working for a WorldWide IT company (the one that created the Personal COmputer).
The company gave me a scholarship to finish my degree and so i can work with them on a SmartPlanet project which is about applying technology to contribute with our planet safety.

I'm also interested in volunteering with Ecological ONGs.

I'm new with this page so please if there's something i miss to say feel free to help me out! understand it's my first time and like everybody else: "The first time always confusing and kind of annoying" but from errors people learn right?

PHILOSOPHY

I used to think my cultural environment was "the better", "the righteous", "the only one"; But travelling helped me understand that we're all different but we're all human beings and helps you see the world from a different perspective.."

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Things Done:
*Jumping from a waterfall in Hawai'i in the middle of the jungle all by myself nobody arround (only my Hanai Brother)
*Meeting some local Cusco little girls who taught me about their culture and life in the valleys

*Swimming with MantaRays in the ocean all by myself
*Lava fLowing into the Ocean spreading amazing Flare clouds (SHOCKING)

Travelling help me to get committed to:
*Teach people to celebrate the rich diversity of humanity. All people, regardless of class, color, ability, age or sexual orientation are encouraged to share their gifts and talents in the life and leadership.

*Teach or Educate about HIV: Although im HIV negative (which means i don't carry the infection nor aids). I realized that many people lack of education about that matter, that seems to be a TABU thing when it's not supposed to be so or that everybody prefers to AVOID that subject when its NECESSARY to know about it to get educated not only to take care of itself but to care for the OTHERS. As a Human Being and someone that appreciates life more than ANYTHING ELSE i care for everybody and think that life is something we should care the most.

Learn: About others cultures, although ive been to some places and met with people from different places i think its never enough and im into meeting more and more!
