English-Español, actually not too similar descriptions haha, cause it's difficult to express myself in the same way in two different languages! Quite interesting when i realised it.

ABOUT ME

It's kind of difficult to talk about oneself!
I am a very happy person, I tend to laugh a LOT with a bit of an embarrassingly loud laughter.
Apart from this I don't know! hmm... I really like to listen to others, and love to learn new things every day, even every second! I'm a very active person, don't mind waking up early, although there are always greatly appropiate moments to sleep in.
I am finisihing my studies in architecture, although I don't know what I will end up doing. Meanwhile I just want to live and learn everywhere!!!

Que difícil es autodescribirse!
Creo que me considero una persona bastante alegre, con tendencia a reir bastante y de manera vergonzosamente sonora jajaja.
Me gusta mucho escuchar a los demás, se puede aprender tantas cosas tan diferentes e inesperadas... y escuchar historias, anécdotas y aventuras... me encanta! :) También me considero una persona muy activa, de las que se levantan de buen humor.
Estudio arquitectura, desde hace casi una eternidad, pero no se que acabaré haciendo, seguro que no serán rascacielos y unifamiliares. Por ahora solo quiero trabajar y vivir en todos lados!!

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have experienced couchsurfing a few times now, mostly surfing as I don't have a place of my own!! But very happy I hosted once in my partner's home! Hope I gave back as much as i have received from my amazing hosts :)
It has been a rather great experience, with each host unique in its way of hosting and of life. I have learned from them as a surfer, how to adapt and be thankful; and also for my future hosting.

Interests

Everything.
My main interest is travelling, or rather, the world, its different cultures, and all that I have to yet discover! Pretty sure as all of you (=
I also have interest in photography, literature, philosophy, architecture... and mostly everything new and unknown to me that someone tells me about, specially if they are passionate about it.

Mi interés principal es viajar, o mejor dicho, el mundo, su inmensidad de culturas, y todo lo que me queda por descubrir! Probablemente como a ti :)
También me interesa la fotografía, la literatura, la filosofía, la arquitectura... la verdad es que todo lo que es nuevo y desconocido para mí (que es muchísimo claro), y que alguien me cuente, sobretodo si me lo cuentan apasionadamente :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love so many types of music it is impossible to be specific, perhaps Spanish rock is my favourite. But above all, music with energy, which makes me smile and jump!
Books about psychology and sociology; human behaviour is fascinating! But everything that falls into my hands is welcomed.
Movies... difficult to say. I have a soft spot for documentaries. I also loved and laughed with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and recently I fell in love with Fantastic Mr. Fox, remembering my Roald Dahl-ish childhood.

Normalmente leo lo que cae en mis manos venga de amigos, intercambios o encuentros fortuitos. Por ejemplo me encantó recibir Dharma Bums de Jack Kerouac, eternamente agradecida de haberlo leído en mi camino!

Me gusta la mayoría de música, no creo que pueda ser muy específica. Posiblemente lo que me enseñes me encanta. Si tuviera que elegir favorita, igual elegiría cosas tan diferentes como el Rock Español, cantautores como The Tallest Man on Earth, o los animados ritmos de The Cat Empire. Sobretodo la música con energía que te hace imposible no ponerte a bailar me encanta.
En el apartado de talento musical, soy nula, pero me empeño en aprender la armónica :)

Dificil de decir con peliculas... Tengo debilidad por todo tipo de documentales. También me encanta el humor negro de peliculas como Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, y recientemente me enamoré de Fantastic Mr. Fox, que me recordó a mi infancia de cuentos de Roald Dahl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

6 months of travels and adventures around Australia, of kindness of strangers, of tiny budget and creative thinking, of no travel plans and surprising landscapes, of amazing sunrises and speechless night skies, of sleeping in the bush in the middle of nowhere...

(sorry if this is sounding too corny! haha, it was just so life changing, I want to do this forever !!!)

A month in Morocco, learning about vernacular earth architecture, in an unknown to me -neighbouring- culture. Of leaving preconceived ideas behind. Of goodness.

Six months in Indonesia, standing out as a stranger in the crowd but feeling at home at the same time. Learning culture and languages of every unique ethnia. Trekking and camping non-stop in jungles, mountains and paradise beaches.

Seis meses de aventuras por Australia, de recibir bondad de caras nuevas, de micropresupuestos y pensamiento creativo, de ausencia de planes y paisajes sorprendentes, de amaneceres increíbles, de cielos estrellados que te dejan sin habla y dormir en la naturaleza en medio de la nada.

Un mes en Marruecos, aprendiendo de construcción tradicional de tierra y de una cultura desconocida para mí aunque vecina, de autoanálisis y deconstrucción de ideas preconcebidas. De bondad.

Seis meses en Indonesia, de ser tan facilmente reconocible como extraña entre ellos y a la vez sentirme como en casa. De aprender el idioma y la cultura, y las mil diferencias entre cada pueblo y etnia. De trekking y camping non-stop, entre junglas, montañas y playas de ensueño.

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose that writing about what I can teach someone is a bit difficult. It depends, sometimes you teach something without even knowing it! But if we're talking of more concrete things, I know how to cook a limited number of delicious spanish vegetarian recipees (doesn't include Paella sorry!UPDATE:I have been practising, I think I'm able now to do a decent Paella!(vegan;)) I know my language (duh!haha) and can exchange with anyone who wishes to practice. And my proudest and most recent acquisition of knowledge, I can show you how to build a house with canes! (: (which could be applied more or less to bamboo, depends where you are from!) [I have also added earth and strawbale construction to this knowledge now:) ]
For the learning aspect, I want to learn mostly about everything, so this is easy. Mainly, info about your culture and country...
Oh! and if you are one of those forever nomad travellers, please share with me how you do it! I think i'm starting to dream of a life of travelling around.

Qué dificil es decir que puedes enseñar a los demás no? A veces puedes hacerlo sin darte cuenta... :) Pero si hablamos de cosas concretas, he desarrollado una tardía pero importante pasión por la cocina (vegetariana). Puedo intercambiar mi español, aunque si lees esto no lo necesitas claro, jaja, o cualquier otro idioma que se, o medio-se. Y bueno, en cuanto a mis conocimientos técnicos, un poquito de construcción con cañas, con barro, con paja... un poquito de todo!
En cuanto aprender, quiero aprender todo! así que eso es fácil. Cualquier cosa contada con emoción, pasión, interés.., merece ser escuchada :)
