About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep on learning and knowing new people and places, keep on getting amazed by reality and its fictions, keep on creating..

ABOUT ME

I consider myself an easy-going guy, open-minded enough to listen any kind of statements and willing to participate in any exchange of opinions with a good sense of humour.I´m convinced I always have something to learn from other people (specially people from different countries and cultures). Therefore I like to be a good listener and I can have a great time just having a good talk (even better if it goes along with a good meal and some drinks ;)My major fields of interest are literature and cinema. At the end it's all about storytelling, like dreaming while we're awake..I think the best way to know a new place is walking it the most possible, so that's something I also enjoy doing: to have a long and nice walk as far as my feet can resist.Another one of my favourites is to hang out with my friends, going to the movies, concerts, or just spending a nice time in a bar or looking for some party in a nightclub.I enjoy traveling, and of course I would like to visit a lot of new places. I have the feeling that Couchsurfing must be a great option to achieve unforgettable trips full of stimulating encounters.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a constant learning, a constant amazement. When you think you have all the answers reality likes to change the questions. There we are: in a constant and exciting challenge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about the CS project while I was living in Barcelona. A good friend recommended it to me and I'll never be grateful enough, because it gave me the chance to meet very nice and interesting people etiher hosting, being hosted or just meeting for a drink. All of them memorable encounters.

Interests

Literature, cinema, theater, music (arts in general); hanging out with my friends to have a drink and a nice talk; football.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love David Lynch's films (specially Mulholland Drive, my all times favourite). Also like films by Hitchcock, Kubrick, Pasolini, Lars von Trier, Cronenberg, Scorsese and Aronofsky, among others.
Some of my favourite writers are Julio Cortázar, Juan Carlos Onetti, Roberto Bolaño, Enrique Vila-Matas, Antonio Lobo Antunes, Julian Barnes, Michel Houellebecq.
I like a wide range of musical genres, but most of all rock, folk and indie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rowing a boat in the Curonian spit in Lithuania. During a moment I was afraid all our stuff would get wet, but we managed to accomplish the mission and it really worth the effort. Walking through those dunes was just amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share
