About Me

[what happened to CS, what's with all the commercialism? I've switched to BeWelcome.org , you may find me there instead; https://www.bewelcome.org/members/julietjuliet ]

Mountain tops fill me with an intense euphoria and gratitude, combined with an urge to save this planet. Biking downhill on serpentine roads is another thing that fills my heart and soul with huge joy.

I love dates, pistachios, marzipan, saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, tofu, avocados, mangos, raspberries picked in the garden. I love animals, the amazing nature, I love waters; oceans, seas, lakes, rivers. I love the internet, libraries, books and reading, I love to draw and paint and to photograph.

In my opinion the two most important things in life are love and freedom.

I believe in karma, what goes around, comes around, I believe in the law of attraction, I believe that everything happens for a reason.
In everything "bad" that occurs in life there's always something good and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Loving and laughing are the best things we can do. It's important that we take care of each other and we should all live in peace and harmony. We are all one, we are all connected and we are all equal.

Love, just love, don't hate.

We are in the Universe and the Universe is in us.
Listen to our nature.

Take care of Gaia.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to movies, among others I love Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino and Tim Burton.
I enjoy movies with a meaningful message, I appreciate when it's a little mysterious and I like to get touched, gripped and inspired by the films I watch, so that afterwards there's a lingering feeling throughout the body.

If I want to dance for hours and hours on end I prefer a lovely forest filled with amazing beings and creatures and together we'll dance, dance, dance to psytrance. All day, all night, inhaling and exhaling energies, sun- and moonlight, in complete ecstasy.
And what I like to listen to depends so much on my mood...some favorites are; Kultiration, Markandeya Collective, The White Stripes, Jack White, The Beatles, Groundation, Håkan Hellström, Franz Ferdinand, Laleh, Elias Grind, The Knife, First Aid Kit, Sigor Rós, múm, Nirvana, Rufus Wainwright, Simon & Garfunkel, System of a Down, Merkaba, Darkol Trinity and lots of others I've probably forgotten right now...

My favorite writers are Haruki Murakami, Jostein Gaarder, Siri Hustvedt, Chuck Palahniuk, Jonathan Safran Foer, Lemony Snicket and I'm huge Harry Potter fan [can't stand the movies though, sacrilege!].
In general books are always greater than movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode my dear bicycle; Yatra, from Sweden to India.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will teach you climbing, yoga and slackline if you're willing to learn! That's the most concrete I can think of.
And I'll learn anything you want to teach me!
[especially though, I'd love to learn to play the guitar and every language is a pleasure to me.]
