Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to take part in the community by hanging with people in my city, participating in meetings etc. Also, these days it seems that an unfortunate amount of people are looking for only extraneous things, such as hooking up or a free hostel, from CS, so meeting people and treating them with good old-fashioned respect and interest seems to be more important than ever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed in France, Germany, Portugal, Canada and the US, off the top of my head. Always got more out of it than I was hoping for!

Interests

Like a proper language major I get a kick out of literature and movies, visual arts too; even better if its something that mixes things up between new & old, highbrow & lowbrow... To balance out cerebral activities, hiking, running and yoga are the best

Going off the beaten track in the Zhangjiajie national park in China, finding lone, vertigious and amazing viewpoints
