Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Please contact me before request to host you.
Unless your profile and request is perfectly done I would be able to make my decision of hosting you before talking to you.
Beside, we can get to know little bit by texting before you request to be hosted.
Hint: there are three questions you need to let me know so I can tell if you read my profile.
THANK YOU!!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
First of all, I decided to update my profile information due one of my last experiences. I have found that people don't really read the personal information provided from your future hosts and since I still would like to offer my place for other travelers... that is why I am making things even easier for you.
*** When you contact me, please let me know what you expect of your host, this case, from me.
*** Please let me know how tall are you so I can make sure you fit in my couch.
*** Have the sense that as much as I would be doing my best to be flexible for you, I will expect you do the same.

Suggested:
***BE VERIFIED (or willing to provide official documentation to me)
*** BE VACINNATED (and willing to show your vacinnation card)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been lucky enough to have met a lot of very interesting people that I, with no doubt, would recommend you to also get to know as people, guest or friend.
I have encountered deep conversations and debates in terms of different mentalities and cultures and ALL of them have ended peacefully and very good and some important have left on me.
The most important thing about getting to know people to is be open-minded when it comes to other people's thoughts and beliefs... though I have a very mindset I will never force you to do something that you do not want to do.
After all I am here for you and I hope you be there for me when I visit your country or place.

Interests

I am really interested into everything about this life, after all that is why I am hosting you: to get to know you and to get to know your culture. I am very open-minded.
The WHY people do the things they do is what really intrigues me when it comes to get to know people. And this is a very good reason to talk about.

There are some topics that could be chaotic, controversial o political/religious... then it is when then become even more interesting for me because it allows me to get to know more about this world and its diversity.
And I will always be open to show interest to know more about my guest.

Particularly I can talk about books I have read, photography, drawings and art, engineering and, of course, travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been living in San Francisco for over four years now and recently got into the tech industry. For a while I was working in a tourist company in the city, so I know a lot of good places to visit and routes to explore the city.
I served in the Navy for 13 years. I have been good at computer science, drawing and languages. I have my own personal free-hand drawing style. I have been blessed with eye of design (specifically in photography, video and decoration).
In terms of sports, I have been improving my physical condition overall. But so far, I have been a sprinter (running really fast for short periods of time), swimmer (was at the swimming team while in college), I have some a couple of Spartan Races (obstacles races) and have run the SF Marathon. Aiming not towards the triathlon.
The wonders that I have seen, besides the wonders of modern and old engineering, is the vast of the ocean and its tranquility… they allow you to see yourself in a very unique way and let you transform into a better person because you can explore yourself, questions yourself and think about life.

Teach, Learn, Share

For a while I used to navigate the two biggest oceans in the world; so, I could teach you about navigation, astronomy. Also about machine learning, engineering, numbers, astrology, English and, of course, Spanish.
I can teach and share about this and any other general culture knowledge that you would like to know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I have answered this questions with my previous statements… but for sure you would have a place to stay and a potential friend. Besides a very sane and down-to-earth guy. I like to work out and exercise so if you want we can do outdoor activities together (even in interiors I am quite creative to do stuff)
For what I can share about my place, please refer to the next section.
NOTE: In my ideal situation we will spend the first night getting to know each other (maybe) over some drinks. I like tequila reposado. Let me know if this works for you.
