ABOUT ME

I am 24 I just moved to Boulder, Colorado from Keystone, Colorado. I moved out of the mountains so I could train year around and work at the St. Julien Hotel and Spa. I love everything about Boulder and am hoping to get to know so many amazing people in this town. I love traveling and the idea of couch surfing is brilliant. I love to cook and I'm always interested in eating new dishes from other countries. I run, ski , bike, hike, camp, pretty much I'll do anything outdoors. My biggest passion is skiing and I've been skiing since I was three. I'm very interested in hosting people from other countries and learning about new cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to have fun and make other people smile and laugh. If I can help every person I meet smile and feel good about themselves for even a minute then I have done something good.

I have hosted and surfed and can say that this is a brilliant idea and I love connecting with people and being able to bring travel costs down substantially.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am well rounded but not that well read though I do like to read. I am a movie buff I have a photographic memory and can remember ridiculous facts and actors who are in movies. Music, I'm all over the board with music. I listen mostly to rap and hip hop just because I grew up listening to that in Washington. But I give everything a fare try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Australia when I was in high school and spent a night sleeping outside in the outback!

I traveled three weeks in South America, Couch Surfing in Argentina and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Teach, Learn, Share

I read the book Blink by Malcolm Gladwell when I was a sophomore in high school. This book changed my life! The ability to think about what your mind goes through in a blink of an eye when making a decision. I love playing poker because I notice a lot of crazy things about different people to the point where I have learned to read people blind and know exactly what they have before they bet. I have a healthy understanding of the world and am able to step back and look at the world objectively which allows me to explore different parts of the world and realize that there can be enough time!
