ABOUT ME

Studied biology, now working at Latvian Television as video editor. Recently started own project called Practice Makes Perfect (www.pmp.lv) which is about filming action sports and organising action sports events here in Latvia. Second big disease is ornithology, I`m in it for more than 10 years already. Main focus right now is on dippers, which a catch and ring during winter in our small unfrozen rivers. So, in brief words, extreme sports, video filming and editing, and ornithology are my main things. But there is a lot in between - traveling, cars, photography, and so on...

PHILOSOPHY

Nobody cares about me in general. That`s the base, from which I build my life. It`s all up to myself, no use for waiting for something. The more I do, the more I achieve. The highest achievment for a man, to my opinion, is to live ones own life just like he wants to. To me there`s no need for big house or new car. I`m happy with what I have. I`m on my way to my own life - to work for myself, not for anybody else. To live life just like I want to. If I`ll have that, I`ll have everything else.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - triphop to breakbeat in electronica, and punkrock to newage in alternative. Loud, fast, blood driving rythm for the soundtrack of my life, and dark, powerfull downtempo with a breathtaking vocal for the moments of silence. Linkin park, Zeromancer, 16 volts, Placebo, Feeder, Korn for the first one, and Massive Attack, Portishead, Coldplay for the second. Movies - criminal comedies are mine ones! Whole 9 yards, Whole 10 yards, Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels, Inglorious Bastards and all the other good ones, which are deadly funny, although there`s usually nobody laughing in those movies.Books - unfortunatelly no time for them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I`ve been to Nordkapp. The real one. That was a week long trip from Tromso and back.
