About Me

Musician, writer, motorcycle enthusiast.

I am currently on a long-term travel to clear my head of the last two years of life in my home country. I move very slowly when I encounter somewhere I like. I also think that finding a good people-watching cafe is of *equal* magnitude as visiting a national museum. I've seen many countries by hitchhiking and it is still my favorite way to become acquainted with unfamiliar places.

At home, I play in various bands, and, when I'm not composing or performing, I'm installing windows, bartending, cycling, skateboarding, organizing political/community efforts, providing medical aid at protests, and obsessively finishing the New York Times crossword puzzles over coffee.

I have very few expectations of hosts. If you want to share your routine with me, and introduce me to your community, friends, and favorite spots– amazing! If you want to show me where to sleep and then disappear for the duration of my stay– also amazing! I'm a very self-contained person, so anything you provide, whether it is a cultural exchange or a simple couch, is just another privilege I am grateful for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my city, I host because I think anybody who is curious enough to explore the world deserves the most honest, multidimensional, and human version of it. I extend myself the same belief when I surf. I'm also poor and hate hostels, but that is more secondary.
