About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy my people and myself!! :D

ABOUT ME

I'm a girl willing to do more and keep learning.

This includes not only travelling the world, but learning from every person and every country; from every tradition and every language.

PHILOSOPHY
My mottos are:
1) Everything happens for a reason.
2) A cada cual hay que juzgarle según su infierno, ("Hay que juzgar a un hombre según su infierno" by Marcel Arland)
If the Holstee Manifesto can be taken as a life philosophy, then, that'll be it!

My personal theories:
1) We all can change, we just need to believe that we can and decide to agree to the cost (the effort that for sure will take).
2) Each of us construct her/himself every minute; we certainly have a set tendency to act/be/feel/think a certain way, and yet it does not mean we cannot choose different at any given moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Back in Spain for some time... Who knows...! ;P

I have been to many CS meetings and events. Shortly I will probably get back to that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have meet many nice couchsurfers along the way, specially in CS meetings and events: potlucks, pub crawls, picnics, active meeting, cooking events,...

Been hosted twelve times so far... Each one AN experience in itself.

One day I will have a cool place of my own to invite CSers over. Yey!!

Interests

Things that grab my attention?! I think almost anything is likely to do so... you just need to tell it with enthusiasm! =P Okaaay... not everything, but I LOVE TO LEARN!

I love to TRAVEL. But to really get involved in the country: the language, the culture, the FOOD =D, the people, the buildings, the parties... I like learning about others' ways of life: what they talk about and how they do it; how, when, where and what they eat; how they love and how they hate; how they feel and express themselves; how they see life...

I enjoy playing SPORTS. In fact, I challenge you to find one that I wouldn't be up for trying! =)

I'm keen on EDUCATION and NATURE. I also like PHOTOGRAPHY and THEATRE(both going to a play and doing it myself!).

If I have time and I'm rested enough (need to sleep to "function"!), I'M UP FOR IT!! From tea at five and baking cookies at home to camping in a festival with someone I just met, all the way through a potluck, an art exhibition, playing cards in a park, dancing all night long, a surf trip... You name it! (If it has something to do with games, travelling, food, languages, crafts, adventure or something I haven't tried yet, it sure has some extra points already ;) ).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm not normally a defender of the culture I happened to be born in. Still, there is always a place for an exception: I very much enjoyed "El otro lado de la cama" (even the second part ;P), "Amantes Pasajeros", and "Ocho apellidos vascos".

Books: too few and too many; and yet never enough. I'm gonna mention one, nonetheless, as it once, for good and bad, sure marked a transition point in my life: "El Bolígrafo de Gel Verde".

Music: I do not like techno, trance, electro crap... :& Sorry!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Witnessed Canada; breathed Switzerland; felt in love with Brighton; survived Poland...

Teach, Learn, Share

I could LEARN just for the pleasure of doing it. I'd like to learn more languages, recipes, games, handicrafts... Also about people and about education.

I could TEACH you most of the thing I know about (not all. At times I feel like keeping my hard-worked discoveries for myself. You just have to earn it, and then I'll most probably just share it ;) ).

I can SHARE my time and my food -probably the two most important things I "own" ^_^.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
