ABOUT ME

Born and raised Texan. I live on a lake near Longview, TX and enjoy the slow pace of life out here. I work for a chemical company on a rotating shift, so sometimes I am working nights and sometimes days. Even though I have to switch back and forth between nights and days I enjoy my schedule because I get a whole week off every month. I went to school to get a degree in wildlife management and forestry. Even though I don't use my degree for my job I am glad I got it because I love the outdoors and I still get plenty of time to do outdoorsy things. I have a 1983 Honda Goldwing project that I am working on. My plan is to turn it into a bobber to ride country roads on. That's about all I got right now.

Interests

I love spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, all of it. I also love listening to live Texas music and two stepping at local honkeytonks. I love building things with my hands and working on bikes or trucks or any kind of machine. If I don't know how to do something I will figure it out on my own or scour the intertrons until I can figure it out. Sometimes I get lost on Wikipedia. I start out reading one article and after a couple of hours have about fifteen different articles in the background to read. Beer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a summer in a fishing village on the coast of Senegal doing summer missions. I love learning about and experiencing other cultures.
