ABOUT ME
a lanky mash up of outdoor sports and design with a love for cooking nature and good people sprinkled on top. I have spent the past few years crafting a fine line between the edu/employment and living sides of my life. It has been an interesting journey but I'm achieving a nice balance.
I am studying furniture design which gives me a great opportunity to turn my thoughts into tangibile objects and maybe make the world a better place. I accept smiles as currency and forgeries are bad.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
poorly... My hosting abilitys are slightly limited at the moment but I am always happy to help another nomad out if I can.
As for being hosted I will always have a story or two to share, for an outdoorsie type I am pretty well housebroken and can put my hand to anything you need help with.

Interests
My Granddad told me that loitering in the mountains is the sport of kings, I've followed his words as best I can and spend as much time as possible exploring the peaks, valleys and forests that the mountains hold, I find the mountains incredible comfortable they are the last stronghold of earth and the environment and a beautiful place to escape from the world. I'm training as a furniture designer I love being able to turn the ideas in my head into functional pieces of design. I've recently taken up longboarding and started making longboards which is a nice combination between scaring myself bombing hills and making some functional objects.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spend 5 months hitching 32,000km, 23 states and 11 Canadian provinces/territories.
Woken up at 3800m tied in on a snow ledge to the sun coming up over the alps. we had gotten stuck on the Aiguille du Chardonnet in heavy snow and spent the night on a ledge we cut to avoid having to find the decent gully in the dark. 45 hours valley to valley.
Hitched 1200km from the very north of Denmark to Munich in 12 hours, some wonderful Croatian guys gave me breakfast and water too.
