ABOUT ME

I am a teacher and the person who loves exploring new places and meeting new people. I think I am open minded , friendly and adventurous. I have been hosting many young people from the States who come to Poland as participants of the programme World Teach so I am experienced in having someone new in my big house. I have also been coordinating some Comenius programmes for young people .
In my free time I love reading books , listening to soul music, Portugese FADO, African ethnics and watching good films. Learning new languages , meeting new people and cultures gives me a lot of pleasure and fun.

PHILOSOPHY

Possitive thinking and gratitude that I am still here on the earth. The world is beautiful and each day which is given to you can`t be wasted.
My favourite thought is " "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have always wanted to go to Japan . AS a young secondary school student I started to correspond with a Japanese guy ( Hiroyuki )and then my love to Japan started. As a Communist girl I couldn`t even think about going to this beautiful country so I had a peaceful life in POland dreaming about a faraway city. After getting married and bringing up two children ( Marta is a coach surfer_)I decided to dream again. Small Japanese streets and towns ( images from the films and books) sometimes came to my mind in the nightreams so I started to think about visiting this beautiful country again and guess what ? - one day while I was resting, having a winter break from school and surfing the Net I found a budget line ticket to Japan and I bought it- without a moment of hesitation. . NOw,it is laying on the table and waiting for the right time . I will not be able to spend a lot of time there - only 8 days inluding travel but my dream seems to be coming true . Strange - how life can be unepected .....On the fourth of April there will be my 50th birthday so isnt it a beautiful present? The decision was so spontanous ....~I can`t believe I did it but I DID IT ;)My family think I am crazy but when to be crazy if not now ?
