I'm what they call a kiwi—someone from New Zealand. For the last 5 years I've been living in Uruguay with my Argentinean girlfriend, but now we're traveling and working, so who knows where we'll end up?

To fund my travels I write about psychology, philosophy, neuroscience and AI. Exploring human nature, minds and brains, and the future of minds and brains. A couple of years ago I wrote a book about learning how to learn.

Most of my experience on Couchsurfing is as a host while I was in New Zealand, but I've also been hosted a few times in Argentina and could end up on another couch sometime soon!

What else... I sometimes also compose music, many years ago I made music for iPhone games. I also enjoy illustration and design.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To see new places and meet new faces. While it has been a long time since I surfed on any couches, it's a great way to meet like-minded travelers.
