I am quirky person who loves to learn. I'm curious and love to learn something new everyday. I am silly and love making everyone laugh. My friends will tell you how obsess I am with film and just how much I love being a filmmaker. I have the opportunity of traveling a lot this year and I have done as much as I can. It's amazing just how much traveling opens up your mind.

I am a creative and interesting gal! I think if we got the chance we become friends! ^_^

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think I'm a pretty cool person! I think if you got the chance with me you probably say I'm a real life chibi (anime reference)! I think we'd have fun and I'd love to learn and share so I think I participate by being a fascinating person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had four experiences....two planned and 2 that were spontaneous. I learned so much from my unplanned couchsurfing experience.
Two of my friends and I were stranded in Zurich's train station around midnight with no place to sleep. We were originally trying to find the airport as a way to crash but instead we ended up in hookah bar explaining our situation to an older woman who allowed us to sleep in her house.

2nd: I ended missing my train back to Florence from Milan around midnight. I was alone and without a computer. Luckily for me, a kind woman let me sleep in her hotel room. She said that as a mom she couldn't let me be on my own.

These two experience left me realizing that there's a lot of good people in this world.

Interests

I have soo many...if only I could really think of which ones are the most fascinating. I love fashion so I sew and craft a lot. I'm addicted to crafting. I try to make everything. I have created lots of interesting wear. I'll have to let you be the guest of how fashionable they really are.

I'm actually a filmmaker so I love to watch films and make them as well. I am really into Michel Gondry who's know for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lars Von Trier, and Sophia Coppola.

I'm always reading. I try to read classics but these days I'm stuck on autobiographies. I'm always trying to pick up new hobbies. Lately I have been trying to work on my yo-yoing. Last time it was learning to contact juggle and practicing my nunchucks.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love film!!!! My favorite film is fight club! I don't know if it's because of my existentialist nature or I'm in love with Edward Norton.

I love Quentin Tarantino films. I think my favorite is Reservoir Dogs. I love lots of indie films right now. I'm also stuck in a Judd Apatow mood so I can't get enough of his films.

I love to read. My favorite book is Frankenstein and I'm currently reading a book on David Lynch. Fascinating stuff I tell ya. I think reading is key to learning. As you can tell I'm a bit of an egg head (nerd).

Music...hmmm...soo hard to say. I love all kinds but I must admit I'm a person who needs to be introduced to new music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Israel about 2 years ago and see people pray at the wailing wall was amazing. There were soo many people and all gathered together by their creed. It just made me feel like there was something bigger than me.

Going to Rome and seeing the Colosseum was crazy! I just had to take a moment and register how this monument was much older than my own country, USA. It made me feel very small.

My friend runs a vintage shop back at home and she gave me the chance to be part of her fashion show. It was soo much fun. I wore this cute, Jackie-O, yellow styled dress and had my make-up done. It was a lot of fun being part of the show.

I am a seeker of truth and knowledge. As you can tell from my profile I'm a nerd. I love the liberal arts and love to swap information I have gathered through my life. Whether's its life experience, how to shoot a film, or discussing the meaning of life, I feel like I have a vast full of fascinating facts and thoughts to share.
