ABOUT ME

So, hello!! I'm Emmyle, I am a student (Environmental Engineering), who loves to travel, and meeting new people and culture. I'm from Brazil, a city named São Luis, but now I live in Palmas, where my university is. In 2012, I had lived in Spain, as an Erasmus student, for a semester, and when the exchange program was over, and I spent about 3 months in Germany, with a lovely family. Now, I'm back to Palmas and to its heat - OH, I love the heat *-* Well, what can I say? I'm in love for Spain, it's an amazing country, and the beaches are marvelous, and the culture... OMG, it's perfect!!!! I really enjoyed my time over there. And about Germany, it can be resumed by one word: BEER! So... what can I say about me? I'm a normal person, who loves traveling, taking pictures of beautiful places and interesting things, besides that I have no good camera, but it's ok, oh, and I also like parties, reading a good book, listening good music, drinking a nice wine (Life is too short for drinking bad wines, like Hubrecht Duijker says), and I really enjoy adventures. OMG, and the most important: I LOVE TO EAT!! I'm not the best cook, but I apreciate very very much who cooks for me :D Well, basically, that's it :)

- Movies:
I like a lot of movies, it would be a giant list, but I really like Wood Allen's movies;
- Books:
My favorite book, until now, is EAT PRAY LOVE. It can be a clichê, but this story reminds me a lot of things about my life, in a different way of hers (the writer);
- Music:
Dire Straits, Creedence, Bob Marley, Coldplay *___*, Jack Jhonson, Johnny Cash, Oasis, The Beatles, The White Stripes, The Cranberries. I love salsa, and bachata, latin musics, and samba (HOMBRE, POR SUPUESTO!!!). And I love brazilian music, as Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Alceu Valença, Ze Ramalho, Vanessa da Mata, Kid Abelha, Legião Urbana, and a nice country music (our sertanejo), like Bruno e Marrone, Jorge e Mateus, Cezar Menotti e Fabiano, etc.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've seen so many amazing things in my life... some of them are too cliche, like Eiffel Tower at night, or the sunset in Lisbon (near by Belem Tower) and in Sao Luis (at Espigão, near by Trapiche); well, others are really interesting, like the waterfalls from Taquaruçu; the whiteness of the dunes from the Maranhão Sheets and their natural pools; the Caballos del Vino's Party in Caravaca de la Cruz (it was an amazing experience, THANKS CARLOS!!!); and, of course, Jalapão - no words for describing it!!!

- I can teach you how to speak Portuguese, OH, and I can teach you how to cook a delicious brasilian food!
- I love to learn everything about other cultures!!! And I love to drink new beers xD
- And I can share with you my knowledge about how to dance samba!
