About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Wake up smiling, seize every moment, try new things, be bold, amaze myself, take chances, be optimistic, embrace change, be legendary, live my life with abandon, have an open mind, be fearless, throw caution to the wind....
ABOUT ME
Cassandra, just a mexican girl that grew up on the west coast in Mexico in a town called Puerto Vallarta. Passionate about life, dancing and traveling. Currently 27 but I always say age is not a number but a state of mind.
I am currently working as a dancer and entertainer in cruise ships for Royal Caribbean International. I am also a zumba instructor since 7 year now. Wow time flies! This work lets me travel all over and meet and work with interesting people from around the globe. I love hosting but unfortunatly I can not do it anymore. I work 6 - 7 months on the ship and I spend 2 months off. On my vacations on land I spend time at home with friends and family and travel a little bit as well.
PHILOSOPHY
Wanderlust. A very strong and irresistible desire or impulse to travel and explore the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I believe Couchsurfing is not free accommodation. Is an exchange of cultures. It is my favorite way of traveling. I sometimes can’t host but when I do I like to treat my surfers like I would like a host o treat me. I hate feeling like another tourist and with CS I never do.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My best experiences traveling have been with CS. However I also have had bad. I don’t like people that use Couchsurfing to get lade (that’s what tinder is for) and I also don’t like people that use it to promote their airbnbs o hostels (that what hostelworld is for)
Interests
Dance, surf, sing, eat, travel, party, play rugby, learn languages, share my culture and learn from the others.
Music, Movies, and Books
Latin music is my fav. But I am also into deep house, international music. I like a lil bit of everything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Done? Traveled by the south of my beautifull Mexico with $0 ... just my guitar and my camping house.
Teach, Learn, Share
My culture, my city, my food, my knowledge about mexican history, my time...
What I Can Share with Hosts
Mexican food is the best in the world. I am not a chef, but I can make a delicious guacamole with quesadillas.
