Heard about this site through a friend after I found an amazing flight deal to Europe and since I plan on traveling alone thought it would be a good way to meet people who might be able to show me around and possibly offer up a couch to stay on

I'm fairly social, open-minded, non-judgmental, a great listener and love helping people any time the opportunity presents itself.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to its fullest but don't let it become a pursuit of simply material things....and as the saying goes..."treat everyone as else you wish to be treated"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm just looking to meet people and socialize and possibly find people to hang out with or host me when I travel to Europe in the next few weeks...I don't have a place of my own yet to host people while they are in town (something which I wish to fix soon) but would love to show people around Toronto or meet up for a bit...I'm a nightclub photographer so I'm basically an expert on the nightlife scene if that's your thing.

Interests

I've been very interested in photography for the past two years now after I bought an old DSLR from a friend. I do some paid work for bars and night clubs as well as corporate events and have even shot a few weddings for friends. Got into it by accident but am very glad I did! I don't get the opportunity to read much but when I do I enjoy sci-fi, non-fiction (history, politics, etc.) fantasy and true-crime. My favourite books (and movies) are the Lord of the Rings series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got the opportunity to cover some official Toronto International Film Festival events last year and get up close and personal with some celebs. It was like being transported into a completely different world....I'm not one to get star-struck by people; I have a fairly egalitarian world-view and to me people are just people whether you're a millionaire or just a working-class bloke....however I must say that celebrities have a strange life-style. Would love to go sky-diving to help get over my anxiety of heights but every time I plan to something always happens (maybe it's a sign?)
