ABOUT ME

Well, I guess all in all I'm a pretty normal, down to earth guy. I can sit down and have a few beers with the boys watching footy, I can have a nice wine with dinner and I can go out and have a few bourbons and dance - I use the term dance very loosely!

I'm always positive, glass half full kind of person - which I'm sure pisses some of my friends off haha. I'm usually smiling, so my friends always think I'm up to something, but I'm just happy.

I'm competitive, yet empathetic, I can be extremely passionate about things and people and I can be stubborn if I believe in something - that being said, I think having the parents that I do, I don't have a choice in being easy going lol.

PHILOSOPHY

I have learned from previous events in my life that you just have to live in the now... don't sweat on the past and keep the future in mind, but otherwise live in the current moment...

Just started, so I will be exploring the world before coming back to Australia to repay hopefully those that I meet along the way.

Interests

Love my family, love my friends - would do anything for them. Love my sport - you name it, I will pretty much watch and/or play it. I love camping and being outdoors, but then I love being indoors near a fire and having a wine and a good meal.

Now... travelling... I have done Thailand, Bali, Korea and South Pacific and after a pretty crap start to the year, I have decided to do the States, Canada and South America. I absolutely can not wait to see snow! Yes, haven't seen snow... and I was a travel agent for 3 years!!! But, as corny as this sounds - I really freakin want a White Christmas!!! Snow, Canadian Club, a fire... Oh yeah, can't wait!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read much which is stupid, because I use to read all the time when I camped on the beach.

I could listen to Jack Johnson or John Mayer on the beach, or some other chilling music by the fire, or some rock old school or new while I'm exercising... from Will Smith to Xavier Rudd to Beach Boys to... well, you get the drift...

Movies - same as music - anything that is good! Batman, Last King of Scotland, The Wrong Man (or Lucky Number Sleven I believe in the States), The Goonies, Indianna Jones, Love Actually (don't tell my mates! haha)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I went camping at Easter and lost a domino piece in the sand. 6 months later, my family and I camped in the same spot and found my domino when Dad hammered a tent peg in the ground! Miracle!

2. James Bond Island tour in Thailand - amazing!!!

3. Sitting in my cabin on the Great Ocean Road and having a humpback whale and her calf come into the bay right across from us!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm??? I can play tennis, beach volleyball and basketball, so I can always teach that. I'm an alright cook I guess... I can pour a mean Canadian Club and Dry!!!

I can juggle... working at going from 3 balls to 4...
