About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Melissa and my partners name is Abraham, we are from Australia, we are a fun loving easy going couple! who love to laugh and enjoy life and its simple pleasures! we are super excited to travel Europe together and have an awesome adventure! I myself (Melissa) have used couch surfing a number of times over the years and loved every minute of it, I met so many great people and it was so nice to see a new place from a locals perspective! I would love to return the favor so get in touch if you need a place in Australia!

PHILOSOPHY

I think its important to live simply with patience and compassion.. really enjoy & appreciate the simply things in life.
I believe its important to focus on what your heart desires.. & therefore what feels right for you at that very moment in your life, not what you 'think' others may want from you, or may 'expect' from you, because everyone is on their own individual life journey and they may be at a different level of development to you and therefore may not completely understand your actions or desires.

You really do know whats best for you! so trust your self, be honest with yourself and try to stay balanced in all aspects of your life.
Its important to embrace change and to not be afraid of it.. because change is inevitable and brings so much growth and wisdom for everyone involved..
Just like how 'fear's will try and stop you from doing many things, but if you push through your fears! you are guaranteed to come out a changed and liberated person.

life's all about learning.. you always come out a better person and happier for your lessons.. so there really isn't.. "good" and "bad" times they really are all "good"..the bad ones are so valuable.. you just need to change your mind frame.. like everyone says, "look for the positive in the situation" and there always is one..if you cant see it now, you will see it soon.

Stay focused on appreciating the simple treasures in life, like sitting in backyard on a sunny day, or drinking hot tea on a rainy afternoon, walking in nature, swimming in the ocean.....
Instead of getting caught up in the meaningless crap, that society can put you through, the mind loops you create about meaningless stuff you never did, or said.. to him or her..! or worry what people may think of you...

At the end of the day, we really are just a tiny speck of dust, on a Gigantic planet that in spinning round and round in the middle of No- Where!!... with millions and trillions of galaxy surrounding it..

Does it really matter what that person thinks of you?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has made my travelling experience amazing! I have met some amazing people along the way! its a great way to connect with local people in the area you are travelling.. its a reminder of how kind people are in this world.. its a almost like a home away from home because everyone you stay with generally treats you like family or a close friend.. its so nice to have a home to stay in rather then being in hostels all the time and its really nice to be shown around by a local.. and share travel stories and cooking!

Interests

When I am not travelling I enjoy having a relaxed lifestyle, great friends, meaningful job, but regular travel trips lined up.
I love having random conversations with complete strangers.. love meeting like minded people that try to have a positive outlook on life, I love to meet people who have a sense of humour, I love to laugh!

I'm trying to teach my self guitar, learn spanish, yoga, mediation, and be creative in any way I can.. I love nature, the beach, the sun! I am a case worker )social worker in my Career, so I love to help make positive changes in peoples lives.
