ABOUT ME

(Un)normal medical student, involved in many more actions than just university. Travler, blogger, scientist, sport volunteer...
Open-minded, sometimes funny, sometimes serious, with lots of ideas per minute. I love meeting new people, traveling and helping others :) My life-long passion is photography. I never travel alone, my Nikon is always accompanying me. I usally shoot nature and architecture, but you can count on good (I believe) portrait picture as well.

Another hobby (almost like profession) is travelling. My friends even call me "Lonely Pawel" but it doesn't mean that I am lonely. It's rather opposite - always hanging out with big bunch of friends who likes travelling and hiking not less than me. "Lonely Pawel" because I am simple better guide that all Lonely planet guidebooks. Especially in Slovenia - my beloved country on the "sunny side of Alps", where I've spend last year.

Last year I've started my adventure with hitch-hiking, and immediately fall in love. Now, every possible time, I take just piece of paper, pen and travel somewhere to meet people and talk with them - preferably in their language if it's not too hard to learn.

Beside that, i am medical student and active researcher in oncology. Curiouse? we can talk about it later :)

I'm just starting my adventure with CS but I am pretty sure that every day spend as a guest or host will be sunny and amazing. I have hosted many of my friends during my Erasmus in Ljublana and none of them was dissapointed - traveling, cooking, parting together... you won't be dissapointed neither

Interests

Photography - mostly nature and architecture, I love B&W
Sport - biathlon, ski jumping, volleyball, canoeing, handball, cycling ,
Hiking - high mountains like Julian Alps or Tatras
Cooking and Baking - we can make traditional polish dumplings together
Portugal - if not Slovenia, I could live in Portugal, drinking Porto Wine and eating Bacalhau (just cooked Bacalhau com natas by myself recently)

Hiking to Triglav - highest mountain in Slovenia. If you climed there, you can consider yourself as true Slovene :)

I can make polish food for you, just need to find necessary ingredients. (Seems like potatoes are available almost everywhere)
