Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am convinced that Couchsurfing is a great platform to get to know inspiring people from all over the world. It makes my travels unique and more authentic. Till now I gained lots of positive experiences through Couchsurfing and I really hope it will continue this way.

Interests

I am enthusiastic about many things and I always love to learn something new.
Usually I spend my spare time time with my friends and family. I like such things as hiking, reading and cooking and baking. Since I am member of the couchsurfing network I obviously love traveling. Moreover I am engaged in different voluntary activities at university. Making the world a bit better place is one of my guiding principles.

Music, Movies, and Books

A film that always touches me deeply is the Italian tragicomedy comedy-drama "Life is Beautiful".
My current favourite book is "Blackout" by Marc Elsberg which deals with the consequences of a major power cut in Europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done was an overnight trek to an old Fort in India. Since our guides had some problems to find the right way to the top of the hill the trek became quite adventurous. Spotting a wild dog could not call me down. Nevertheless we reached the Fort safely and were rewarded by an amazing sun rise the next day.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some time ago I started to learn Latin Dances like Merengue, Bachata and Salsa. Even though I know only the basics I could teach you a few steps.
I always wanted to learn how to play the piano. If you know how to play, it would be great if you could share you knowledge with me.

Since I travelled quite a bit within Europe and Asia I can share my travel experiences with you or prepare some German or India dishes. ;-)
