About Me

-=-=- I go out Fridays and Saturday nights, if you want to arrive on these days, please consider the logistics of that -=-=-

I'm a British dude who has been living in Sweden since 2020. I work from home full-time and have some things on the side. I'm fairly sociable and I'd like to think I'm a good balance of serious and silly (:

I've met a bunch of good people from/through CS over the years but I lived in shared housing and, until recently, not had the option to host. But now I'm lucky enough to be living in Malmö's most famous building so I am super happy that I am able to share it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of the platform... helping each other explore the world by removing the cost of accommodation.

Also, I think it's nice to travel to a place and, to some extent, experience it through the eyes of someone who lives there.

Interests

I have a bunch of interests and hobbies but, in general, just really love learning new things.

I love music and especially electronic music... I sometimes host DJ skillsharing sessions or organise small outdoor parties.

As for sports, I'm most happy if there is a board under my feet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: mostly electronic and hip-hop but I appreciate a bunch more

Movies: Richard Linklater and Frank Capra are my favorite filmmakers

Books: mostly the internet these days

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I DJ'd at a rave the night of Midsommar in Sweden and both the sunset and sunrise that night were amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes x3

I have ADHD'd my way into a bunch of knowledge and hobbies that I can teach/share with varying degrees of competency. Mainly board sports, media stuff and tech stuff.

I love learning new things. I've neglected my cooking skills for years and my biggest knowledge gaps are probably in art and history -- if you can teach me anything at all, I'd be glad to learn it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bottomless well of random chit-chat.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

New Zealand, Sweden, United Kingdom
