About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To practice hospitality to travelers and strangers.
ABOUT ME
Matt and I became friends in college a few years ago and now live together in Knoxville. I'm pretty laid back and tend to be more quiet and reserved. I like to read and talk lit/theology/philosophy. Matt is very friendly and outgoing--"life of the party" kind of guy. We both love music--listening, singing and playing--and would love to jam if you're up for it.
PHILOSOPHY
Matt and I are both Christians, and admittedly, it is the great love and hospitality that Christ showed to his followers and friends that motivates us to open our home to strangers. That said, our primary goal with CS is to welcome and befriend--not convert. We respect everyone's beliefs and hope you will do the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Waking up at La Push from a perfect night of camping with my best friends--slightly damp but insurmountably gorgeous! Easily the best camping experience I've ever had.
Teach, Learn, Share
Matt is developing his skills as banjo, trumpet and voice teacher. I've only taken one class in pottery (and it's all table work. No wheel experience), but I love any excuse to teach other people how to play with mud.
