ABOUT ME

Well, I'm a pretty laid back gal. I love people. I love to be outdoors, and living in a Mississippi River town, that's pretty easily achieved! I read a lot of books and drink a lot of coffee (sometimes simultaneously!) Gardening is an essential summertime activity for me. I have a passion for good food, beer and coffee - basically I like to indulge in the world. Everything in moderation though ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I try to stay in a state of thankfulness and constant discovery. I didn't come up with this one, but it's a favorite: To thine own self be true. Covers all bases.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have mostly hosted people. I actually have only surfed once!

Interests

Kayaking, hiking, biking, sleeping in my hammock, reading, writing, cooking. I love connecting with people, having adventures and conversations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exploring Ireland and finding genuine, traditional music there was an amazing experience. Also seeing wild buffalo for the first time in Wyoming.
