Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like doing all the party things, but I like doing all the quiet time things too. I love dining in and out . Nice wine and things. But I also love doing things on the el cheapo. I love socialising and meeting new people - however I have never really been forced to talk to people as I will on this trip. Excited and scared ! I love cooking and eating , and learning about them as well. Always learning please!

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate this question .

All of the things! Currently smashing through lots of pop and hip hop , the last artist I saw live was Grimes (we met too!!!!!) and the last book I read was one about Indigenous People in Australia - very informative and interesting to finally learn more about the indigenous culture of the country where I have been living for the past 5 years! The latest book i bought is called "In defense of food" and it has to do with food and how we are eating it and why .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing my sister get married - It was the first time in my life that I cried from happiness!

Voodoo doughnuts in Portland, Oregon.

Overseas travel - different people/ways of living/animals/poverty lines.

Last week i touched a stingray.

In january i went snorkling for the first time which was awesome, also i went abalone diving for the first time and also prepared a dish from said abalone. it was so fun and amazing and creative and felt really natural and great to be collecting and feeding from our beautiful land.

Teach, Learn, Share

i feel like there are so many types of people in the world who have experienced so many different things. whether you have travelled or not. whether you have been through hard times, or not. whether you've had a "normal" life , or not. i like experiencing things with all types of people, gaining perspective and learning from different kinds of people opens my eyes and opinions.
