ABOUT ME
Hey everyone! My name is Donovan and I'm an open-minded 23 years old who tries to live each day grateful for everything I have. My passions in life are music, walking, nature, animals, and good vibes.
I play piano, guitar, and djembe, and I LOVE JAMMIN with anyone!! It's the best lol. But I've lived in New Jersey my whole life, however, I know this is not the area for me. I love the mountains and the woods. Just being outside is where I find myself closest to God.

PHILOSOPHY
If you give good vibes out, you'll get good vibes back.
Fate is an addict of uncertainty. Keep your mind open and the best things will find you.
Stop worrying and let it happen.

Music, Movies, and Books
Radiohead, Parliament, Bob Marley, Man Man, The Beatles, Trevor Hall, Muse, Foals, Wu-Tang Clan, Lotus, Pretty Lights, Pink Floyd, Django Django.. I dig on that funkadelic double bass, groovin alternative, folky trip hop sound. I love all kinds of music. It's all the same 12 notes, no reason to group things.
V for Vendetta is my favorite movie, but I'm really into animated films. Pixar for the win! And Wreck it Ralph!
I dig on the Harry Potter books, but also poems by ee Cummings, and On the Road by Jack Kerouac. I'm a slow reader and it makes me tired, so I don't read as much as I wish i did.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once a month, which started with just my brother getting a few friends together, we would all meet at my house and make a bunch of pb&j and cheese sandwiches. We would also buy a few cases of waters and get a bunch of socks. We'd load it all into bags and head to Love Park in Philadelphia and hand them out to the homeless.
It's amazing to give back and see the smiles on these people's faces. It also gives you a whole new perspective on something really misunderstood in society.
The group is called Project Endless Agape. We now get 15-25 people to come out each trip. Check it out!!
