ABOUT ME

I am French! That means that I speak very badly other languages (always with a terrible "French accent"!) but I love learning other languages.

As a French teacher, I love teaching my own language and culture. But before all, I love when my studients do teach me their own culture! My job is the best ever when you think about this wonderful sharing! For now, I just arrived in a new country : the Philippines and the first impressions are really great!

Hard to define myself...I love eating so while I'm travelling, I always find a way to discover the gastronomy!

If there is some event linked with music, dance, literature, and with culture more generally, you can be sure to find me!! You can find me singing in my shower or (better!) singing with other people!!

PHILOSOPHY

I love smiling! In my opinion, people don't smile enough...and a smile is always a kind of gift, free, especially to the stranger!
I am also a very optimistic person. I think that there is always a way to find positive aspects in a situation...well, in most of them :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, for me, couchsurfing means exchange! So I can offer my couch for a night and I can find one available if there is one while I'm travelling!
And experiencing couchsurfing evenings, I can see that's a great "community"!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All the experiences were great! Meeting people from different countries, with different habits is really Amazon. For now, I just arrived in the Philippines so not possible yet to offer my couch but I hope I can in few months.

Interests

I love music! I play the flute and the piccolo (and a bit of guitar!) But what I like the most with music is to share it with others, to organize jam evenings during which everybody has their instrument and we find a way to create an amazing music!)
I also like dancing! The love of my life is rock'n'roll and swing!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to experience one year of internship in Latvia very quickly...I took the decision in 24 hours! Usually, I take a lot of time to think and take a decision! But this time, I don't know why...and I was accepted one week after! My whole life was changing because of a quick decision! And I didn't know anything about Latvia of course...so don't ask me why I chose this destination!! My family and friends thought I was crazy to go there! But I don't regret it! Not at all!!! That was one of my best years, meeting incredible people in the three Baltic states!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing with people...sharing experience of travelling, of life...
And sharing languages! As I am French, my language skill is awful :-) But I love learning words in a new language! And as I am a French teacher, I can teach you some words in French of course!
And sharing music...I love singing, playing the flute or the guitar! And lots of people have a guitars in their place!!
