Couchsurfing makes a genuine impression of a place possible. I often almost felt home while just staying a few days in the same city. Good couchsurfing hosts can be roommate, friend and tourguide in one person you have never met before. This network turns out the best (maybe in some cases the worst) out of people this it what makes it special and exciting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I remember so many conversations with people in rideshares, while hitchiking, in hostels, with couchsurfers and random people on the street. Listening to their stories often triggers so much curiosity and excitement for places and happenings in me, that I doubt I'll ever have enough of this world.
