About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to enjoy my life in Germany as an exchange student, not just study but also find something new.

ABOUT ME

I am responsible but a little bit boring. Actually, I love travelling.
I am an English major, so I really know something about English literature. Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Oscar Wilde, etc. I hope we will be pleased to be with each other while talking about these authors.
As a Chinese, I also know the tradition in China. So if you are interested in Chinese, just send me a message and I will answer asap:-)
Travelling, is the second task of my studying here in Germany. As a Chinese student, it is the precious chance for me to travel around Europe during this year. So I want to explore not only Germany, but also the countries in Europe.
singing some songs, either pop music or orchestra (I am not sure whether it meets the standard :-))
Cooking!!!!Especially baking!!!
Writing. As an English major, I need to write and I love writing. I love writing non-fiction! It is about life story, true story.
Walking. Yep, I love walking so much, not only for consuming the calories, but also for thinking about some twisted problems.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoying my life but also doing my best.
Accept the worst and embrace the best.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recently amazing thing I have done is that I survived after being seated in a 19-hour train from Stockholm to Abisko, in a 26-hour train+bus+taxi from Abisko to Oslo, in a 16-hour train+bus from Bergen to Copenhagen :-D

When I succeeded in flying from China to Frankfurt and then to Koln by train all by myself, or when I am busy doing one thing but can manage to think about another thing. Forgive my awkward description.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to strengthen my English and also make quick progress in learning German. Haha, sounds boring.

Actually why I choose couchsurfing is that I want to meet people from different parts of Europe, learn different cultures that may affect psychology and thinking, and share my culture, my thoughts, and also, Chinese cuisines with others.
Let more and more people know more about China :-)

Sharing, learning, giving, not thinking of taking.

With the help of hospitable hosts, I began to fall in love with couchsurfing.
These are the experiences I have had with my hosts:
From Tom in Brussels, I am thankful for his comfort after my wallet was stolen;
From Hans and his family in Antwerp, I can imagine what a happy family will be in my future if possible.
From Lucho in Delft, I know the spirit of sharing.
From Thierry in Paris, I have a wonderful Christmas time in Europe.
From Severin in Stockholm, I make friends with him and also other exchange students from Beijing and Hong Kong.
From Sakhi in Oslo, I am aware of the life of local people there.
From Xavier in Bergen, I regain my power of doing Yoga.
From Julie, Freja, Ash and Naud in Copenhagen, I have a wonderful time with them, sharing experiences.
From Dr. Buchner in Munich, I can imagine what a perfect family will be in my future if possible.
From Joana in Berchtesgaden, I know how deep she falls in love with German, the language itself.
From Atacan in Salzburg, I know what a true friend should be.
From Rene in Vienna, I know how to be efficient and polite in Europe.
From Gabor in Budapest, I know the living condition of many people in Budapest, and also how to be a qualified surfer as well as an independent traveller.
From Janice and Joni in Hamburg, I feel the sense of familiarity with hosts that can speak my mother tongue.
From Olga and her friend Levente, I have learned a new attitude towards life.
From Marta, Kuba and the lovely baby Jurek, I have experienced the warmth from a family
