About Me

FREE SUDAN
FREE PALESTINE
FREE CONGO
FREE IRAN
FREE HAITI
FREE WEST PAPUA

Before all else, the vision and promise of freedom for our communities, for every soul, and for nature herself from the grasp of oppressive powers and relentless exploitation, is a woven liberation for us all.

For the moment I'm in Bali researching traditional agriculture systems, textiles, bio-materials, while also writing more on decolonizing traveling, literature, and our societal frameworks.

Mainly just lending a helping hand around the world where I can and celebrating our collective diversity!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Because I love my couchsurfers ♥

Samu in Dresden,Germany- We climbed every sign, wall, and building and did headstands in the middle of the street until 2 in the morning simply to delight our night

Flavio in frankfurt, germany- Flavio allowed me to guide him all the way home, my way and get completely lost in his own neighborhood, along with dancing half of the way

Marco in florence, italy- Marco ended up saving us in the florence train station last minute and introducing us to the most beautiful greek and italian architects you could ever meet along with the most delicious food.

Robert and his ninjas in cleveland, helped me tie my mattress on top of my car and move to my new house then couchsurfed there after their concert!

Benjamin in buffalo, new york accompanied me to discretely steal library books on Africa for my research, what a great host =) Then I hosted him and his sisters a few months later!

Madi from the U.K, learned old german with me in the car and watched me slip and fall at least 20 times in heels in the snow =)

Julien from france, visited me twice and brought me a singing and dancing duck for my birthday, along with fishing in a small stream only catching branches and leaves all day!

Jeremy from france, allowed me to walk him on our frozen lake and do headstands until it began to crack! We dont want dead couchsurfers do we ? =) Along, with his amazing french rap skills to NEWWW YORKKKK!!!

Katka from czech republic, allowed me to straighten her curly czech hair , and dance all night to our theme song TIK TOK, along with becoming my czech sister, i adopted her, love you ♥

Eric in Chicago introduced me to the city of Chicago, like the host of World's Greatest City and made me fall in love with traveling again..He also hosted me in Pittsburgh and surfed with me in Cleveland!

Marcelo from brazil became my best friend after hosting him a few days then traveling to chicago together. WE shared the best memories only family could understand!

Sam Jacob hosted me for way to long in his family's home in Cairo! They became my family and took care of me every time I came back into town :) His mom taught me how to cook Egyptian meals, while Sam taught me everything about being a Coptic.

Mohamed, Islam, and Nader showed me the ins and outs of Cairo and partying until morning! They are bad asses and play beautiful music in the city.. They are my Egyptian brothers for sure!

Yordanes hosted me in her lovely home in Bahir Dar and taught me the process of wine making and Injera! I fell in love with her and family as they gave me a nickname and awaited my next visit :) I even traveled to D.C when she flew into the states for the first time!!
