Currently pursing a Master's in Conference Interpreting (oral/simultaneous translation) in Paris. It has been a great learning experience, but at the same time, a taxing and demanding one. Thus, it is difficult for me to manage my studies along with socializing and Couchsurfing. However, I try to make time and meet the members who make up this wonderful community.

So I'll be happy to host you whenever it is possible for me. Bonus points if you write to me in any of the languages you and I speak other than English, especially German!!

Accueillir des gens me fait beaucoup de plaisir, mais surtout ça fait partie de ma culture et de mon éducation.

J'interviens au cours d'anglais au lycée près de Lyon et j'habite dans un chouette endroit dans le centre. Volontiers pour vous héberger si je suis là, je connais très bien Lyon.

J'aime me balader, faire du skate, du vélo, courir, jouer au foot, au ping-pong, au volley et faire de la randonnée. Regarder des films et écouter de la musique de partout dans le monde me font autant de plaisir que faire la cuisine et rencontrer du monde.

So currently I'm in Rennes, Brittany, working as an English Teacher in 2 high schools. It's been a bloody great experience: teaching, traveling, hanging around and exploring stuff.

I've met some really fun and friendly people and hopefully that should continue for a while now, as lately I've been trying out new things and been even more open to new ideas.

Okay now, too much of French and France haha. Here's a rough little outline about me:

In general, I avoid having junk and prefer not to spend too much on food. Cooking has been fun too. Back home in Mumbai, I used to practice football, volleyball and run very regularly. Once in Rennes, my schedule has changed and I've become more of a cycling/skateboarding-hang-out type.

Nevertheless, I love doing some activity and all sports in general. So do let me know if you're up for some challenging sporty activity.

When it comes to walking, I'm all up for it. In my city Mumbai, I never take cabs and avoid taking out the car. Local trains plus walking is more than enough.

I read and watch movies from time to time, explore new music a bit more often.

And once again, when it comes to food, clothes and most importantly, traveling, I like being frugal. It's just how I am, and it's so much more fun.

J'ai commencé à apprendre le français aux étudiants de mon université quand j'étais en deuxième année de mes études. D'abord cela était à temps partiel, mais plus tard, pendant ma troisième année j'ai rempacé une professeur dans un lycée pendant un semestre.

I have a strong base in English grammar and have been learning French as a foreign language for over 2 years now, so I can gladly teach or help practice these 2 languages!

I am learning to prepare some Indian dishes before I move to France and thus I can therefore teach them to others.
